Well, I much not rather spend an absurd amount of money for one card, seeing the poor man I am right now, I will end up buying the Battle Pack because of its cool reprints, OCG Prints and Gem-Knight Pearl. Tour Guide is a near staple in EVERY deck. It thins the Deck, can bring Sangan to the field to be destroyed, can instantly make a Rank 3 such as Zenmaines, Leviair, or Leviathan (or Giga-Brilliant), or Wind-Up Zenmaity for Wind-Up loop, is Dark for Chaos and BLS, and...yeah, there's pretty much no downside. I remain amused that this card was released in the TCG before Xyz did, making it a case of Konami supporting Xyz before their TCG release. But Sangan and other copies of itself is only a fraction of its use. It can also grab crucial Level 3 Fiends like Kushano in Fableds, or one of the Level 3 Resonators in some bizarre Scar-Red Nova Resonator Deck. True, it won't be able to be Synchro Material, but Birdman has theoretical combos, and Red Carpet gets some setup from it. For the record, I did not succeed in making the above deck work at all. The problem now is that Tour Guide, like Tengu before it, shapes the meta too much. It's an instant Rank 3, pretty much. And Rank 3s are getting pretty good. The first ones were Number 17 and Leviair, the latter which is amazing. And with Zenmaity and the Wind-Up loop, things will be more problematic until this arrives in the OCG and prepares the road for some limits.
