evilfusion Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 I doubt it. It's still broken, even without the loop it had with Dimension Fusion, Spell Economics, and Mass Driver. It's Level 8 for Trade-In. DARK for a ton of things. No Summoning Condition. Retrieves ANY Spell from your Grave when Summoned by ANY means (barring events that'll make it miss the timing). It also banishes monsters it defeats. 2800 ATK is huge, and Spellcaster has decent support options. Banishing itself is both a gift and a curse. There are plenty of forms of Banish Revival, such as Escape from the Dark Dimension (Basicaly Call of the Haunted for banished Darks), D.D.R (basically Premature for banished monsters, but for a discard). I do believe that while BLS isn't the unstoppable warrior he was years ago, he shouldn't linger for another format. DMoC has a Trigger Effect with Spell retrieval. I mean, you lose 1000 Life Points. Dian Keto should be banned because she gives you 1000 Life Points for no cost, and gives you back the Life Points spent to play Delinquent Duo. You Banish a LIGHT and DARK to destroy all [i]YOUR[/i] cards, and the Opponent's. Not to mention, you also have to pay 1000 Life Points! It's just a monster version of Tribute to the Doomed that gets run over by say, Neo the Magic Swordsman. And Yata-Garasu? Oh please. What's so broken about a 200 ATKer who bounces back to the hand at the End Phase? Cyber-Stein? Come on! Really? You lose 5000 Life Points! Count em, [b]5000 Life Points![/b] You can easily get Mirror Force'd and then your opponent attacks for game with Ancient Gear Golem. Sheesh, Konami. You know nothing about the game you sell. If we disregard how the battle pack contains multiple banned cards, whereas the Gold Series only had BLS: Arguing against DMoC being @1: -Experiments are usually only in September due to Nationals/Worlds being in March formats (I can debate this bit further if you negroes like) -The damn pack doesn't come out until like May or some f*** Arguing for DMoC @1: -How often do you have tribute fodder for DMoC? -How often are you in a position to Tribute Summon DMoC and gain an upper edge from it? -How often are you in a position to Tribute Summon DMoC and not have it be a win-more card? -How often are you in a position to Tribute Summon DMoC and haven't already used your Normal Summon? -How often are you able to recover from Warning on your DMoC? -How often are you able to get DMoC out without Tribute and not have to play inconsistent cards (DDR, Escape)? -How bad are the cards you have to run to Special Summon it?
