This doesn't negate my original point that comments like these are utterly devoid of thought and contribute nothing. The same terrible logic you're using against Lvl 8s could be used against the Lvl 6s by saying "WELL THEY WERE BAD SO NO ONE WILL USE THEM EVEN IF THEYRE BECOMING VIABLE".

If you're going to say this is a bad card, I'm sure most of you were unaware of a good amount of those cards listed before and there's no point in mentioning that it's bad for a fifth time when you could actually talk about it. But you guys don't have anything to say about it so you blurt out TERRIBLE and move on to no exact means or end. That's not a discussion, that's just commentary from the peanut gallery. If you're only going to work off of already established points and ideas there's no point posting. Then if you're going to say there ARE other cards that do what he does, you're wrong. Flipping between two bad points doesn't make either of them right.

Your circular logic to protect stagnation is disturbing, YCM.

But riddle me this: why think about combos to make the card usable and enjoyable when we could just pass it off???

I didn't even comment on the lack of content, now did I? That wasn't my point at all. MY point was that, no matter how much you say, this is not a good card.

Level 8s aren't viable. Hieroglyphs aimed to make them, but failed. None of the new support helps Lv. 8s in the end, just the aforementioned Lv. 6s. The Lv. 6s JUST got viable.

Everyone knew about all the cards you listed ._.

Anything you said was obvious and took anyone here no tiem at all to figure it out, you just had to spell it out for some false sens of superiorty, as I see it.

>Nobody uses normal cards

Rabbit and good Hieratics disagree with you =o

This card is terrible. Is it alright to go "terrible, next"? No, but there's a reason people are saying it.

So, Bringer made the point that with Future Fusion you could send 3 Normals, then Eclipse, RFP REDMD, then send another Dragon. RFP Wyvern to get the REDMD in your hand, effectively losing one card in your hand to destroy one of your opponents cards and set up the Grave with a Dragon of your choice. He gives the entire concept a lot more consistency, and there would definitely be a place for him in such decks, so no, I'm not going to put minimal thought into something and come out to such a conclusion. And not everybody here feels like topdecking the top 3 metadecks, so maximizing usability for any card should be a priority.

This "but it was so it is" logic is awful, so stop using it.

Or I was, you know, actually trying to say some things and try discussing a card. And given people's tendencies to forget cards that don't top meta shortly after their release, I doubt that. Somebody might've been able to respond to my comment on the constant RFPing that would occur were that the case, but as no one did I'm not going to give any of you the benefit of the doubt.

Except Rabbits and good Hieratics shouldn't exist under your logic because the cards they benefit from are terrible.

People are saying it for +1s and because disparaging comments on forums make you feel like a badass.

Fufu increases consistency as a whole and isn't a lucksack? News to me.

I don't even run any Meta decks, so idk what you're on about there. Even if you max the usability it would take a fairly dedicated casual build that normal Disaster or w/e would outclass.

The other vanillas you mentioned don't matter because they're all worse than those 3.

I don't care if you do, I didn't take the time to read all of your ego stroking.

Or I guess we could just continue the argument on hierotics. I don't care either way.

C'mon Meta, I know you can read.

Except I already detailed the other cards that dump Dragons.

Not saying you run meta, just that the "I want to use this card so I'd like to see how it best works" mentality shouldn't be neglected in a game where you're trying to have fun, so that should be what discussions are about. This shouldn't be a debated issue.

But Normal Dragons that aren't Wattmeter Dragon suck too bad even with all the support to even be considered running outside of casual decks.

OT: When I first saw this, I missed the word "Normal" and had a freakout.

I'm just going to jump in and say this. You can't neglect that mentality, sure, but you can't neglect the meta mentality either. The meta game is what determines how good a card actually is. In my casual mind, Harpies and Corn.dek could be Tier One, but we all know that will never happen.

The casual play, sure this card has potential, but in the meta game it has none. The only decks that can use it don't want to run that many normal Dragons.

In casual, this card could be pretty hilarious with some weird engine, possibly Chaos.

Two big differences, but the Meta one is what determines how good a card really is.

I guess the difference between Corn/Harpies is that what limits this is the Summoning condition while they just don't have a win condition. With this card out you accomplish things, it's simply a matter of being capable of using it efficiently and getting enough material in the grave. So with something like this you can at least try working with that, and that should be the point of the topic.

Harpies actually have a good win condition in the form of Hysteric Party, thing is there's no real easy way to dump them in the grave for it. They don't have a good way to gain advantage over the opponent other then that.

Also, people here tend to look on the meta side of the board. You can't insult them for that, because it IS a terrible card in the meta. In the casual though, this thing could be hilarious.
