Hieratic Dragon of Sutekh, the Destroyer

Recommended Posts

Four was the best Doctor ever, hands down.

Terrible, next. Although I feel inclined to make a point anyway, we should be pleased that bad cards are getting Ultra spots - it means we have more chance of getting better cards, as they may be pushed down a rarity to make room for cardboard like this.

Wait, is it just me, or the card image on the card in Wikia is bigger? Are cards getting redesigned?

Hopefully the UK cards go up in quality because you have to put them in sleeves the second you get them or they get damaged.

Hey guys, wonderful card discussion you've got going on in here! Even if you think a card is completely terrible, and even if it is essentially nonviable, if it has a specific effect nothing else covers right now then I'd suggest trying to work with that while acknowledging its overall usability rather than filling a supposed discussion with cynical two word remarks regarding rarities in a cardgame.

Egg

These are the 4 primary Normal monsters, I guess. The other option if you want to stay with Level 8s is:

http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110512021614/yugioh/images/f/fa/CosmoQueenMP1-NA-UR-UE.jpg
Cosmo Queen

Monster by monster:
Tri-Horned- Comparably weak, but a DARK type, opening up for Virus abuse possibilities.

Blue Eyes- The strongest of the bunch, and a LIGHT Dragon. Haven't looked into specific LIGHT support though.

Rabidragon- A weaker Blue Eyes, that means he can't ram with the 3000's, but in the case you ever need a wall or something he makes the sturdiest DEF. Basically Blue Eyes.

Egg- Kind of the useless one. You can already have 6 Normal Lvl 8 Dragons running the other two at max, and he doesn't offer much anything. Could be sided in circumstances where your opponent's locking down high ATK summons.

Cosmo Queen- Not a Dragon, but a candidate for basically everything else, and a DARK.

Off the top of my head, here are some things to work with them:
-Black Lust(er Solider - Envoy of the Beginning)
-Morphing Jar
-Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
-Red-Eyes Wyvern
-Future Fusion
-Summoner's Art
-The Viruses
-Pot of Avarice?
-Champion's Vigilance
-Proof of Powerlessness
-Vanguard of the Dragon
-Card Destruction
-Lighten The Load
-Mausoleum of the Emperor
-Trade-In

Then of course there's this guy:
http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111118111412/yugioh/images/f/f3/ThunderEndDragon-PHSW-EN-UR-1E.jpg
Thunder End Dragon
After dumping Normals with cards like Future Fusion, Trade In, etc., you can then use cards such as:
Monster Reborn
Swing of Memories
Ancient Rules
Silent Doom

To quickly SS these beaters for a fast XYZ.

This Hieratic seems like just another boss card for the Deck, only he doesn't even need them on the field. With Wyvern, this monster, and chaos monsters like Black Lust you'd be filling your banished spot pretty quickly, so I wonder what cards could deal with that effectively. I haven't looked into that or the Hieratic archetype very much, so I'll see if there's a cover for that.

Because he's definitely centered around Level 8 Normal Dragons, which are currently gaining more and more support. Obviously the nature of the effect is nothing new, but Yugioh loops practically all of their effects nowadays. Had that Agent been a Dragon that RFP'd a Dragon etcetera etcetera then you'd be right.

But Normal Dragons that aren't Wattmeter Dragon suck too bad even with all the support to even be considered running outside of casual decks.

OT: When I first saw this, I missed the word "Normal" and had a freakout.

... True, so to rephrase.

Non-Lv. 6 Normal Dragons are crap and only run @2 max a deck, so this is crap outside casual

I like Curse of Dragon though, I've found having Volca in the Extra for "Too high ATK boss" things being useful enough. Oh, and Tiras too.

This doesn't negate my original point that comments like these are utterly devoid of thought and contribute nothing. The same terrible logic you're using against Lvl 8s could be used against the Lvl 6s by saying "WELL THEY WERE BAD SO NO ONE WILL USE THEM EVEN IF THEYRE BECOMING VIABLE".

If you're going to say this is a bad card, I'm sure most of you were unaware of a good amount of those cards listed before and there's no point in mentioning that it's bad for a fifth time when you could actually talk about it. But you guys don't have anything to say about it so you blurt out TERRIBLE and move on to no exact means or end. That's not a discussion, that's just commentary from the peanut gallery. If you're only going to work off of already established points and ideas there's no point posting. Then if you're going to say there ARE other cards that do what he does, you're wrong. Flipping between two bad points doesn't make either of them right.

Your circular logic to protect stagnation is disturbing, YCM.

Coolio, you forgot Eclipse Wyvern. Mill w/Future Fusion, summon SUTEKH THE DESTROYER, banish Wyvern, get RDMD or something.
But riddle me this: why think about combos to make the card usable and enjoyable when we could just pass it off???

Because as the thread creator, it would be confusing to the thread dynamic if I also passed off the card in a later post.
