Thank heavens it didn't keep it's original japanese name... If you absolutely need a good vanilla in spellcasters, I suppose this does manage. A friend of mine used a deck with Dark Magician + Prisma to abuse it's support. It was fun as hell, and it could stand up against a fair bit of Tier 2-3 decks (this was before Xyz's) but overall it was a tad slow. ... Dark Magician! I wouldn't main it.
