I don't think this card can be played under those conditions.

The Lolwiki says you can since the card is weird and stuff. The discard effect doesn't even work with DWs/Fableds.

It sounds like the Special Summon part is mandatory. If it cannot be fulfilled, then the card cannot be played. It's like trying to play PoD after you've already SS.

Honest only activates during Damage Step, which, by the time this card is activated, will not be used because it will be in the Graveyard before the Damage Step.
