[/quote] Yes, because the original Xyz Materials are treated as Xyz Materials for the Chaos Xyz Evolution summon. This specifically says that the Xyz summon has to use it as a material, whereas Utopia Ray states that only Utopia is the material and then you can keep its attached materials. Makes 2900 Roaches (if anyone even plays that card any more), 2800 Chains, 3500 Utopias, 3300 Alverds, and lots of other good cards. Obviously it's most powerful with the Warrior-restricted Xyzs, or Kachi Kochi Dragon. It makes up for the mostly-defensive effects of most generic Xyz Monsters. It's not that great with Black Corn; most monsters that big can just be run over. Black Corn's mainly good against monsters you don't want to destroy, like Zenmaines or XX-Saber Emmersblade.
