Once per turn: You can target 1 other face-up "Photon" monster you control; the Levels of this card and that target become equal to their combined Levels.

Considering it's both a target for One for One and Machine Duplication, it seems interesting.
Mostly because its a Photon version of Tannhauser Gate.
Discuss.

Sounds interesting.

Though Machine Dupe would make it weird.

Galaxy Eyes + this = x2 Level 9
Galaxy Eyes or this + second copy of this = x2 Level 10
Galaxy Eyes or this, or second copy of this + third copy of this = x2 Level 11

End result = Level 9 + Level 10 + Level 11 + Level 11

Not that abusable for 3 material Xyzs

@Above: Xyz monsters cant be effected by anything level-related.

Unless LEvel Eater is involved, it would be awkward to try and make a 3-Material Xyz monster with 3 Satellites.
Also, I just noting that its Dupeable.

Not to mention this has the same stats as Valley and can be put in the same deck for Eltanin plays perhaps.
Thrasher x3
Satellite x3
Valley x3
Eltanin x1-3

Machine Dupelication x2-3
One for One x1

????????????????????

The good thing about it is it isn't a "When this card is (Normal) Summoned" or anything like that, so it does work with Machine Dupe plays. It also becomes equal to their combined current Levels, so multiple copies can play off one another.

But you'd need Photon Wyvern to make Rank 8s, or Photon Leo and 2 of these.

Alternatively, use other Level modifying cards.

Would have been really cool with a SS clause or something.

Interestingly, the effect is permanent, so you could use it again in the next turn to get even more Levels out of it. Not that useful, but a thought.

Thrasher is the best target, and makes a Rank 5.

So...

Thrasher
This -> dupe
3 this and thrasher
1 Targets Thrasher, both go 5
Another targets the 5, goes 6.
Last one targets Thrasher, both go 6.

Feel epic because you actually summoned Photon Strike Bounzer in Photons.

Alternately, end with an R4 and R5 for the same set up.

Wait, I don't think that works.
Thrasher and Sat. 1 both hit level 5
Sat. 2 targets Thrasher, both hit 6
Sat. 3 targets Sat. 1 and both of those hit 6

2 Rank 6s

I just said that ._.

The alternate is:
Sat 1 targets Thrasher, go 5, overlay.
Sat 2 targets 3, then 3 targets 2. 1+1+2 = 4.

Maybe it's the way you worded it, but I read that as "End with Rank 5 and Rank 6"

OT: This card alone gives photons a HUGE boost, mostly because now you can get some sort of variability out of the deck aside from "BIG BEATSTICK SUMMON GALAXY EYES"
...not that there's anything wrong with Galaxy Eyes.

because it can't help with NGEPD :/
Neo Galaxy isn't necessarily the ONLY actual win condition to Photons, you know...
Normal Galaxy Eyes, and its pseudo-invincibility, makes for a strong boss by itself.
Satellite just gives more variety if your willing to build the deck to include it.
