Heck, I plan to start out the format with X-Sabers, which run about 2 Xyz max. So, YCM, do you think Synchro monsters will make a comeback in 9/12's meta? [/quote] fixed, because there is no such thing as "a consistent monster", only deck consistency. Also, Brionac took a hit which hurt generic tune for Level 6 synchroing. They're pretty evenly matched; while Synchros generally have more ATK and better effects, Xyzs are easier to summon and generally you can do it without a -1. [/quote] If you say so o.O I'm using a deck that plays both. Oh and 2 of the top decks next format don't play Synchro at all, but they all play Xyz pretty much. Seriously though, Xyz monsters are still gonna be more widely used because they're a lot easier to use. But, synchros will actually be used outside of Lavals and Shi En. So...synchs won't be kicking Xyz out by any means, but THEY'RE NOT DEAD YET! And also, Nexus again. Because I haven't been able to reference it for awhile.
