Iron Chain is okay. For it having 2500 ATK, the question is: what if your opponent mills Dandy, Lyla, and Plaguespreader, for example? You've just set your opponent up for massive plays.

Anyway, there's some DARK 2400 generic level 6 which has a usable effect. Him vs Gaia is preference, but I've not been picking Gaia lately.

Sirius is okay only because of the fact that it relies on having an opponent's monster out on the field as well. Besides, Gaia can get over Stardust Dragon first turn, and doesn't have to wait for an effect like Sirius to kick in.

Gaia is cool for the format, because of his ease of Summoning and 2600 ATK.

Some people use Gravity Warrior because it can get bigger than Gaia, and Orient Dragon because it has more utility outside of its ATK, but generally this is your go-to.

Often better attribute, better type in Decks running Phantom Beast.

Like I said, it's preference. Sirius + 600 ATK monster can take out basically any beatstick, while there are a few Gaia cannot, and there are some Gaia doesn't have to die to take down, but Sirius does.

In all seriousness, since Brio has gone, Gaia Knight has become the number 1 primary level 6 synchro (but it's down to preference) with good stats. It being EARTH is cool nowadays because Grandsoil exists.

Charger is a free card, though, and is used most often to get around other card's nasty effects. The only case I can see for Ur being used for that is if you synchro with Lyla after using her effect.

Okay, if we're going that route, Goyo is the best Level 6. But from the UNBANNED range of Level 6s, Gaia is the best, followed by Sirius and then Orient.
