DN: Spence Says Herro

Edit: I've got a few question:
1) How do you enforce the limit to 3 sides? As far as I know, your opponent has no knowledge of your side deck or what you side.
2) What if we were to win multiple copies of limited cards such as BLS?
3) Are there going to be moderators in each duel?
4) Winning a special power; can you add it to main deck? Or must it stay in side deck?

Edit: I've got a few question:

1) How do you enforce the limit to 3 sides? As far as I know, your opponent has no knowledge of your side deck or what you side.
There is no way to truly enforce. He is checking all Deck lists and approving the ones that have all the requirements. After that, we just have to trust each other. These tournaments don't have a price or prize as far as I know, so the main appeal is to test yourself in a different enviroment. To be perfectly honest, why would anyone cheat?

2) What if we were to win multiple copies of limited cards such as BLS?
That won't happen because each player will have a different limited card. If a participant chooses BLS, no other person can choose BLS.
Also, let's say you are at round 1000th (exagerating here), and you have defeated someone with 1000 won "secret powers" in the Side Deck. My guess is that you just take that person's basic initial "secret power", not any of the ones he/she has won over the course of the tournament. That way, you can't possibly have repeated limited secret powers.

3) Are there going to be moderators in each duel?
Most likely not, but both players must recognize and validate a victory so, that kind of stuff should be under control to some degree.

4) Winning a special power; can you add it to main deck? Or must it stay in side deck?
It says Side Deck so, I guess you can't start with it incorporated in your Main Deck from Duel 1, but I'm curious to know for sure as well.

My bad >_< I think I saw your questions as a sig or something.

1) How do you enforce the limit to 3 sides? As far as I know, your opponent has no knowledge of your side deck or what you side.

Answered by Sleepy. After I check the lists, we can only trust each other, BUT if I happen to catch anyone using cards that were not in their decklists prior to the beginning of the tournament, they will most likely be disqualified.

2) What if we were to win multiple copies of limited cards such as BLS?

Cannot happen. No one is allowed the same "Secret Power". If this does happen...we know something's wrong.

3) Are there going to be moderators in each duel?

Answered. There may be other spectators, but not everyone is online at the same time.

4) Winning a special power; can you add it to main deck? Or must it stay in side deck?

It is added to your Side Deck. No ifs, no ands, no buts. ALSO as the duels progress you get to "choose" 1 "Secret Power" your opponent possesses to claim as your own. For example:

Duelist X has won round 1 vs. Duelist Y. Duelist X now has Duelist's Y's Secret Power.

Round 2: Duelist X wins against Duelist T who has already won and claimed the secret power of Duelist S. Duelist X gets to choose either to claim the original Secret Power of Duelists T OR the Secret Power he obtained from Duelist S, no inbetweens, no mix, just 1 or the other.

Round 3: Same example as above. You can only choose 1 of the 3 secret powers.

Hope this made sense.

Also you PM me your Decklist.

So, I guess I won't be able to have 4 BLS in my Side Deck =P
(I don't think Dueling Network even allows that to happen).

By the way, I don't want to know who but out of curiousity, has anyone chosen BLS already?

Oh, and congratulations, your Tournament looks more successful than the previous one.

1 more question: The side deck can consist of 15 cards. If we had 15 cards prior, do we have to modify the decklist to add won "secret powers"? Is there a cap?
You start with max 3 Side Deck cards, so you can use the remaining 12 slots for your prize cards. It's not like you have to keep adjusting it to 3 cards round after round.

See, I understood the "side 3 cards" rule as you can only have 3 cards in your side deck and from that point any gained "secret powers" are just added in there. I'm kinda wondering about this tbh.
