I'm actually that stick in the mud that finds it annoying. The point of the tournament is to throw yourself into an unfamilar situation where you can test your skills under that situation. Sleepy Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 If you can prepare as much as possible and don't mind your opponent knowing your Deck, and your opponent doesn't mind you knowing his/her's, I don't see harm in it. The tournament wouldn't be as fun if you enter with an experimental build that ends up proving bad, and know you have to Duel with it throughout all rounds. I honestly thought it was going to be a fun thing to take a whack at, but with so many people dueling and testing their decks prior to the tournament I no longer see the appeal. The participants who haven't been testing their decks will be at a disadvantage against those who have been and it generally will be a lot less fun to even watch. Sorry but I'm out. You know people won't likely use cards like Trag or Gorz for their secret power. So going all in and OTKing will become significantly easier, especially since most of the good traps (bottomless, mirror, the solemns, Torrential, etc.) are shot down by the limited list. [/quote] I meant that they're the few good traps that aren't limited or semi-limited, but you can only run 2 due to tourny rules. Btw, if you finished your deck, wanna do a test duel? [/quote] I did say I was going to be offline for the weekend .-. Anyways! The tournament rounds will be up about 10 minutes after 12:00 PM (GMT: -6:00)! In retrospect, I don't mind testing, but it does kinda ruin the moment. But then again, I had just said that I didn't mind so I'm neutral on that. Tourny is still accepting but for those who have already turned in their decks and have made changes, you are now "DECK LOCKED". No more changes may take place!
