The Answers to all of these questions are "No" you don't know how the next tourny will play out or what problem cards will arise. To be fair, the same applies to me. We can only make speculations on what will happen and what would be problematic. As such I'm willing to make a compromise. We wait and see what happens. If indeed BLS does play a major roll like you all think then I'll admit I'm wrong and the ban can happen without any complaining from me. If it doesn't however, then you guys don't ban BLS. No saying you were wrong or anything. That's fair compromise. Your right in that I don't care about the cards but I do care about unfairness and controdictions. Cute Rotten Yoshika Posted November 28, 2012 Report Share Posted November 28, 2012 i do not need to be from the future to see this card is problematic and neither does anyone else. let me state exactly what the issues are: 1) this format has summoning sickness for extra deck monsters. this is a main deck card and does not have that weakness. 2) most extra deck monsters cannot run this over. i dont mean the ones most commonly used, or the ones that are the best in this format. i mean most of them period. there are only 18 synchro monsters with >3000 atk, and the majority of those need tuner synchros or are otherwise difficult to get out. as for xyz monsters? theres only FIVE with greater than 3000 attack. 3) in the off chance someone DOES get an extra deck monster out, it wont be able to attack that turn. so unless its something like big eye this monster is gonna kill it or banish it. not to mention this card has honest support which makes killing it by battle even harder. 4) getting rid of it by effects is also not easy, as many cards that could deal with this are on the format's limited or semi-limited lists. the only reason this card isnt dominating the regular format is because they have the maximum allowable copies of things like solemns bottomless torrential et al. it is inconceivable that a card thats very good in the main format, where theres so much more to combat it could be allowed in this one, where the options are far more limited. finally, you are really not in a position to be making demands like that? this isnt your format and its not your tournament youre running. the decision was that everyone would come to an agreement and that agreement is for the most part ban BLS. if you dont like that then i guess dont play in the next tournament? but dont sit here and demand things from other people for no reason other than "i dont like this but i actually dont care but i really do". just dont play dude. but dont try and make it less fun for everyone else. [/quote] First off have you even played in any of the tournys so far? ?.? If not then what gives you the right to start saying that this card is problematic in this format. I "have" played in a few of the tournys so far so I can at least say that BLS hasn't made any impact yet. Granted with the new changes it "could" make an impact but it is not a fact that it will. 1. I'm more then aware of the summoning sickness. 2. I'll give you this one. 3. Same as 2 4. This I don't agree with. There is less Spell/Trap hate around which makes traps more viable. Not to mention the fact that there are actually a plentiful amount of monster destruction. Such as Smashing Ground, Soul Taker, D-Prison, Memory of an Adversary, Compulse (Only a temporary prevention), Black Rose (if you can play it), Karma Cut, and more. You sir have made NO sense in this debate from the moment it started. You even asked why we should take you seriously. Well, I agree with you. We SHOULDN'T take you seriously, and I suggest we start ignoring you. All you're doing is filling up this thread with posts arguing against anything we decide one, simply because you want BLS to remain unbanned EVEN THOUGH you said you don't wanna use him. I mean, design-wise, it's solitaire, it's stall, it's boring, but tbh, it's not exactly the most relevant thing out there to use. If people want to use it, let them. Not to mention having the least possible amount of keys hit, leaves more options, even if such options were bad, they would still be there. In the same way, BLS: My personal opinion is that it gets banned. If it's banned, Primal Seed gets out to unlimited, and I'd like to personally see an unlimited Chaos Sorcerer, too, but I also want people to reply to this part so I can see if I'm letting nonsense escape my mouth or not. Lastly, do not wait for changes. It's gonna be the fifth tourney so we should have enough feedback, even if the changes don't fix EVERYTHING, whatever that can be fixed is a good thing. ^There, no contradictions. Is Special Unlimited still a thing? Whatever happened to the last time I suggested "2 semi-limited slots" instead of "2 copies of a semi-limited only", and you seemed to say "sure".
