What's all this Chance Format business?

Also, does this section have a mod? According to the bottom of the page this forum's lead by evilfusion, but I haven't seen him in a while.

tl;dr - Advance Format if you can. If you don't wanna, that's cool but please put a link or put a spoiler of what your format looks like.

Please and thank you.

Chance's Format refers to the custom format that YCM member Chance Furlong designed (if that's the word), and thus was named after him. The latest tournaments he has host have been under this format. Here is a link the thread with the details and the discussion around it.

I'm the creator of "Chance Format" and yes, it still follows the "Advanced Clause" since there is not "custom ban list" as it still has to follow alot of the regular format, just with a few additional rules. That's why I posted it there, :/ didn't think there'd be a problem.

I'm probably necrobumping this (sorry in advance and I'll take the risk).

What I think Pika means, is not that you shouldn't post your format decks here, but that you should post the rules of that format or at least a link leading to them, along with your decks.

It's pretty reasonable if you ask me. After all, it is probably a handful of people at the TCG section that practice it, and only have done so since fairly recently.

and not to sound like a stalker or anything, but last time I heard of Evilfusion, he commented something about having applied for a job and being called back unusually soon (status reply iirc).

It's not a sure thing, but I assume there are big chances that that might be the cause.

SPOILER ALERT: I DON'T ACTUALLY GIVE A funk ABOUT CHANCE FORMAT

If you're gonna use custom formats, you have to post the banlist you're using.

I thought this was obvious once you read the tl;dr, but apparently I have to put it in caps now.
