Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having 7 "Crystal Beast" cards with different names on your field or in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card cannot activate its effects the turn it is Special Summoned. ● During either player's turn: You can send all "Crystal Beast" monsters you control to the Graveyard; this card gains 1000 ATKfor each card sent. ● You can banish all "Crystal Beast" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle all cards on the field into the Decks.

Crystal Beasts cannot depend on a boss that needs all of it's existent members to be assembled before you can bring it out, and once you do so, it's effects hurt the deck's playstyle with no repair.

Only 4 Crystal Beasts are commonly used. The other 3 (Amethist, Covalt, Emerald) you might be able to tech casually, but that'd only make everything more inconsistent, as running them means you have this dragon bothering you in your build, and that getting any of those 3 single copies banished will ruin it for the other 3 pieces (I'm including the dragon as a piece). If you use more than one copy of those, odds are that the quality of your hands will decrease a lot, and your deck in general.

Hamon is a better boss, and it still has been deemed too slow. Not to mention that it consumes this deck's life force (although not as badly as Rainbow Dragon does)

That said, it's my personal favorite Dragon in yugioh art-wise.
It's also epic when you see it out. I saw some guy drop 3 copies of it once. Hilarious.

Bad card but arguably one of the coolest cards ever printed

Also hands down the best plot device card since the series began

Did you not see like half of Yugi's cards?

Queen of Tragic Endings is a much better boss, as is Hamon. This has no place in any deck ever.
