Oh, thank you.

And uh, I accidentally went off the page after I JUST got the Budew all into my spoiler and everything.

I really don't feel like putting in the effort to do it again right now. I know, I'm lazy.

No problem. Recently I have been getting very lazy about my spoiler as well. I feel like talking about eeveelutions so...

What type would you like to see most? This is not a question involving Sylveon, so you don't have to base it off of that.

GAH SPOILERS ARE BEING A B****!

I don't really have one I'd like to see most, in all actuality. I just hope there is at least a second new one, it would be a bit of a shame if this would be the first time only one eeveelution is introduced.

I agree, one eeveelution is not enough. I think that the one that they will be coming out with in addition to Sylveon will be the Rock type one, assuming that Sylveon is flying type.

Well, Sylveon's japanese name is Ninfia, deriving from Nymph, so I think it's safe to assume that being based of a fairy means Flying type. But meh.

I personally want to see Water Fighting as a starter, and Water/Fire as just a type combination. A steam pokémon, with Scald as their signature move.

I am very fond of the Water/Fighting, Grass/Dark, and Fire/Psychic idea for starters. Although, slightly disappointed with the fact that Fennekin will not be a Fire/Electric.

They do indeed need to make a Fire/Water type, it has been long coming and they have already made an Electric/Ground, so why not?

There's all that and for whatever reason, I'm kind of hoping for another Bug/Water-type. I was sad that Surskit didn't stay with that combination when it evolved, and it'd be cool to see an evolution of something with those types.

Seeing more Water/Bug would be cool. I have said this before, but what we need is a Fire/Electric Type and a Bug/Electric type would be cool too. A Lightning Bug, hello?

Actually, they did that last thing in Gen 5 but it sounds like a really cool combination (though I haven't used Joltik and Galvantula). Also, I've never really thought about this but have they done a Bug-type Legendary? If not that'd be cool. I haven't really used Bug-types for the longest time but I started to in Gen 4 with Kricketune. I also tend to like the ones that do better with physical moves more, that's probably why I haven't used any until Gen 4 (though there was Scyther but there wasn't really a large selection of those kinds of Bugs then).

How could I have forgotten about Galvantula?! Well Genesect is Bug and Steel, but they could definitely do more experimenting there.

As for Bug pokemon: I like Heracross, Scizor, Galvantula, and maybe Pinsir...

That's right, there's Genesect. I know Bug-types weren't really meant to counter Fire-types, but I use the Douse Drive. However, it would only help if it's faster. If it also changed type with the Drive that would've been cool because then there would've been another Bug/Water, but that doesn't change the fact I'd like to see an evolution with those types.

I need to start posting more >_>

But yeah, Bugs do seem underrated initially. They're severely underappreciated in game, and there aren't many of them, especially ones with good typings.

But the good ones are really good. Just look a Scizor! It's one of the most used pokémon in the OU metagame. And Forretress isn't doing too shabby either. Bug/Steel is a pretty decent combination; though fire totally owns it. I personally love them two pokemon as well; Gen 2 pokémon generally are the best.

Oh hey, none of these have been used by actual Pokemon yet, right? Those Pokestar Studios opponents.

The 3 of them seem... pretty interesting. The Steel/Normal one seems horrible, though, and probably the dark/psychic too. Well, I only say that because they have types they'd do horrible against, but you never know, just like was said above me, Scizor and Forretress are really/pretty good.

Steel/Normal does seem rather horrible; it's basically Steel with added weakness to fighting, and an immunity to ghost rather than a resistance. Which means it's quite terrible. No good stabs either.

Dark/Psychic seems good though. Great stabs, covers Dark's Fighting weakness and Psychic's Ghost weakness. Bug's the only type that's super effective against it, I think. (?) Though bug is quite common nowadays.

But yeah, Dark/Psychic would hit off like Dark/Fighting did with Scraggy I reckon. It's quite a good combination.

Steel/Normal is a laughable idea. Dark and Psychic would be cool, it would make them INCREDIBLY susceptible to Bug type attacks, but it would cover a few weaknesses as well.

Honestly, I don't count those stupid Rotom forms as actual Pokemon. A microwave? A lawn mower? A fridge? A fan? Come on Pokemon, Foongus was better than that. I want to see a real Fire/Electric Type.

Link to comment

Yup. Steel/Normal just seems like one of if not the worst idea for a type combination, but I guess it's interesting for the Pokestar Studios.

I don't count forms as actual Pokemon either. I count them as forms. ._.

I don't care if they are kind of neat to me, it would still be much more exciting to see a real fire/electric. True stuff.

BUMP

With things the way they are, I decided to suspend all battling. Sorry guys. But I don't think it will affect anyone, seeing as battling is at an all time low...who am I kidding...we are standing on our last leg people.

So as to get a new topic rolling, I am getting back into making fakemon. Just finished drawing the sketches for the rest of my fire starter line. If you want to check out what I have finished. Click here.

Welcome. Glad to have a new member.

So what's your favorite Pokemon game?

To be fair I've only played Leafgreen, Pearl and White but out of those it's probably Leafgreen just because it was my first and I have the nostalgia.

I remember bossing everyone with a level 95 Charizard I'd trained for ages, as well as a level 95 Raticate.

Needless to say, I didn't know what Legendaries, Base Stats, STAB, EVs and Abilities were.

I still don't pay much attention to those, ruins the carefree fun of the game for me. I remember  going through the game my first time with Level 100 Blastoise, I also seem to remember relying heavily on a persian as well. The second time, I used Venusaur, and I think I like Frenzy Plant more than I do Hydro Cannon.

Just finished my newest fakemon, say hello to Cardenix.

That looks really cool.

And uh, I basically don't pay attention to any of those either. Except abilities. Normalize may make all of Skitty's moves STAB, but I prefer Cute Charm and different typed moves.
