ListenToLife Posted January 11, 2013 Report Share Posted January 11, 2013 I finally got hold of white, so I'll probably be grabbing a hold of White 2 in due time. For now, I'm pretty chuffed I've got this for now. (All because I got full marks in a Maths exam, and secured myself a top grade in that GCSE; along with getting the first A* the school has ever gotten in Maths.) I cant decide which I'd prefer to get out of X&Y. Both the legendaries look quite cool. I guess I'll decide when I see what other pokemon are available in each. Oh, and I wouldn't quite count out the Grass type yet. Need to see what their evolutions look like first. What if Chespin gets super-uber epic? Ren✧ Posted January 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 13, 2013 I finally defeated the Elite 4 and the Champion in Pokemon Black 2. Did it on my first try, wasn't too hard. I imagine there is more story though, seeing as there are like 3 more towns for me to discover and I have yet to catch Black Kyurem. @DaWeirdGuy: the only reason I chose Black 2, is because it had Black Kyurem. Zekrom and Kyurem-B do look cooler, but I like myself with a bit of balance; having all pokémon and stuff. Anyway, white seems quite good so far. I like the rustling patches thing, though Audino is quite crap to be honest. My only complaint is that it seems to be going too fast. The first Gym happens too soon, we're introduced to the main enemies too soon and you get pokéballs and stuff too soon. There's no mission or something the researcher wants you sent on, and no detour or anything. Another thing is that the trainers are quite weak compared to the wild pokémon, or vice versa maybe. [/quote] Yeah that seems to be the thing with recent games, the first time through is pretty easy, but once you rechallenge the Elite 4, it gets more difficult. I am continuing on with the story right now and I just got the Dark Stone. Fighting N to get it was very difficult, took me two tries just to defeat him and he was only using 1 Pokemon. I like it, it looks nice, and I might add it to my collection, but it just doesn't seem like the kind of thing I'd train. Making it Normal-type seems fairly redundant to me seeing as Eevee is already a Normal Type. Don't get me wrong, a true Eevee evolution would be cool, but I am expecting it to look more similar to Eevee. But yeah Flying and then Normal would be my guesses.
