Cute Rotten Yoshika Posted December 15, 2012 Report Share Posted December 15, 2012 necro doll is malicious but level 8 so i imagine its gonna find a niche to fill soon enough. magne doll is nearly useless because of the cyber dragon clause. much better to just dump it in grave and get it some other way. junk puppet doesnt have any visible drawbacks, since i dont think (though i could be wrong) that any of the non-xyz gimmick puppets are very strong attack wise. This is a much bigger opourtunity I think... I really hope the real version is released soon. And if they release these guys I wonder if the rest of the Gimmick Puppets will turn up? Necro Doll is kind of cool, but it reminds me too much of Heraldic Beast Abercorway, in that having to have 2+ copies in the Grave just to use the effect limits how worthwhile it is. That said, it would still boost the playability of Rank 8s. Ugh, why do I forsee a clause "this card cannot be used as Xyz Material, except for a Gimmick Puppet"? Dreary Doll is now a once per turn Level 8 fodder which doesn't have the crap requirements of Heraldic Beast Aberconway. I like this a lot as well. To be honest, the Xyz Requirements don't matter that much. Junk Puppet can now bring back Heaven's Strings for lulz and shortlived beatstick. Oh, and other Puppets for Xyz fun. They really need to release more of the archetype, considering Dreary Doll literally has only 5 targets for her effect at the moment (2 of which being copies of herself). Also, Gearspring Spirit ( [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gearspring_Spirit"]http://yugioh.wikia....arspring_Spirit[/url] ) could be a hilarious tech or even maindeck monster if more Gimmick Puppets get released. Okay, broken if used by Heaven's Strings which is the only Puppet wirh 3000 ATK other than Destiny Leo, but the fact you can potentially attack 8 times was ridiculous, even if the monster can't die by battle.
