This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 1 face-up Trap Card your opponent controls to the Graveyard.
Skill Drain deck- one Malefic and no field spell card... otk? NOPE Wall of Revealing Light on a Final Countdown deck... are there still stalls? Well hey you have one less to deal with Appropriate for drawing power? NOPE Of course this card sucks if your opponent doesnt run any continuous trap cards but besides that its decent What do you guys think of this card? LeguBrit
I'd like it more if you could Special Summon it by other ways, but until then it's a self Summoning level 4 Tuner with 1900 ATK. It's useful when going up against Skill Drain or Royal Decree but the closest to being played I'd use it is sided and that's not even often. byak
Iunno why I'd use this card when I can use something more versatile and useful like... Mystical Space Typhoon?
nolvorite
you get a monster on the field while taking away one of their continuous traps.
Althemia
you get a monster on the field while taking away one of their continuous traps.
But MST does the same job without the monster, except it's far more versatile. As does Dust Tornado.
nolvorite
so you can't say that special summoning a monster by taking away one continuous trap card your opponent controls isn't an advantage? Of course it's not as versatile as MST/any card that destroys spells/traps but it can be useful at the very least.
Airride
Except it can only be summoned on your turn anyway :L MST, Dust Tornado, Twister, Night Shot(Sort of), and other *Chainable* S/T destruction are all basically better than this. Sander
What are the targets for this nowadays anyways? Skill Drain, Fiendish Chain and maybe Safe Zone? The card isn't worth the dedicated deck / side-deck space, even if it had more targets than the ones I mentioned.
LeguBrit
It has targets like Haze Glory and Fire Fist continuous Traps.
Haze Beasts aren't good, for one. Also, I'd rather just pop the Fire Fist traps when they activate to stop my opponent from getting too far ahead on advantage. ~British Soul~
Yeah, this card is just plain bad. With only one way to summon this, it would end up a dead draw alot of the time, and as already stated, MST and Dust Tornado are better than this, even Twister too. Sora1499
I pulled one of these a while back when i was a kid. I thought it was the best card ever.
Dat pun. Mainly, the reason I asked was because Zanda has been referencing it a lot lately, so I'm wondering if it's seen as much impact right now as it has at the start of the format. Even more OT so that Hatcher doesn't hunt my ass later: Card in the OP is too situational to be of any worth, especially in this format.
Toffee.
Part of the reason nobody uses this, is because you cant Summon it as part of the same chain.

evilfusion
Card would be so much better if it wasn't a Nomi. Not only is it 100% reliant on the cards your opponent plays and has out, but it's a completely dead card if they don't. This was obviously printed back when Level 4 Tuners needed some incredible drawback to balance them.
