A member of the "Liberators" of "Gold Paladin", the Second Regular Army of the United Sanctuary. Her winged trumpet is a sacred music armament, which can transform and release whips of light from its bell during battle. Though being a warrior with formal armament, her favourite job is to work as the "alarm person" of the Order. She wakes the newcomers in the dorm with her trumpet daily. In addition, her temperament is gentle and warm, winning her the friendship of humans, spirits and animals. It is often witnessed that she plays with Sylphs and High Beasts outside her mission.

Little animals are defenseless and vulnerable to the invaders. Being a kind-hearted individual, she joins the Liberators to protect the animals. To restore the tranquil time with everyone in the peaceful forest, a little angel performs the melody of battle.

But I don't actually mind the card to badly, I mean it seems better than Wingal Liberator for certain even if it's just a One turn power up.

 

Oh and it's a 5k booster. Which is just awesome.

This is Luquier after being twisted by the power of the avatar of Void, “Link Joker". Because she was in the middle of a performance in a coastline city, she was caught in the midst of a fierce attack by the forces of “Link Joker" after they came ashore and began their invasion of “Dark Zone". Her flexible and composed aspects that filled others with smiles simply vanished, replaced by an extremely haughty and unjust way of speaking and acting that has resulted in many considering her an utter tyrant, and she is now fittingly called “The Mad Queen". Anyone who refuses to follow her is forcibly placed under the control of her magical eye - its power now completely out of control, and as a result has taken control of Pale Moon by her own hands. "Those who follow me will know pleasure from their mistress, while those who dare oppose me shall know inescapable slavery." As she swore this in a voice so cold that it made people run, her hair turned the color of red blood. She smiles with an insane, seductive smile as the stage is colored by black energies. A Dark Elf who lives freely as a magic scholar. She faces battles reluctantly, but she shows no tolerance to those who dare disturb her research. She does not relate moral values to her research. One day her wonderful invention was publicized, and another day her usage of forbidden arts was revealed. She was known to be a weirdo in the nation, because she has been sent to the jail as many times as she has been given honors, however, she disappeared for a period of time. Afterwards, it was discovered that she had joined the “Shadow Paladins”. It is still a mystery as to why and how she joined the ranks of the shadowy knights. Nevertheless, she has continued her research without being affected by the change of environment and time. Since the order of Shadow Paladin is full of individuals with complicated backgrounds, it seems to be an unexpectedly cozy place for her.

侵 略者の魔手より聖域を守護する事を誓った戦士「撃退者」。 憤怒を体現したかのような風体の老竜戦士。 「ファントム・ブラスター・ドラゴン」が守護竜として君臨していた時代に仕えていた偉大な騎士だったが、彼が堕ちた際に袂を別っている。 別れの際に彼が放った闇の力に侵されアビスドラゴンへと変貌してしまい、世の全てに幻滅して帝国兵に討ち取られそうになったところを、次代の守護竜となる 「ソウルセイバー・ドラゴン」によって救われた。 その後、聖域を守る為に再起する事を誓い、肉体と精神に負った傷を癒す為に永き眠りについたという。 しかし、時を経て目覚めた彼は守護竜の騎士ではなく影となる道を選んだ。 それは、一寸とはいえ闇を拒めなかった彼なりのけじめだったのかもしれない。 闇は闇らしく、絶望を以て絶望を征す。 聖域に降りかかる全ての厄災に、怒れる影は等しく絶望を授ける。

A warrior of the “Revengers", who have vowed to protect the Sanctuary from the clutches of the invaders. He is an ancient Dragon Warrior who looks like he is the embodiment of wrath and rage. He was a great knight who served in the days when “Phantom Blaster Dragon" reigned as the Guardian Dragon, so when Phantom Blaster fell, the two of them parted ways. However, he ended up getting taken over by the power of darkness that overtook him when he parted from his friend, he turned into an Abyss Dragon, he found himself completely disillusioned with the entire world and nearly let himself be killed by soldiers of the Empire, but was saved by “Soul Saver Dragon" who has become the next generation’s Guardian Dragon. Afterwards, he swore he would one day again protect the Sanctuary, and fell into a seemingly eternal slumber in order to heal the wounds inflicted to his body and soul. However, upon awaking he chose the path that lead to him becoming a shadow, not a knight of the Guardian Dragon once more. It might be his way of admitting he can’t entirely refuse the darkness. While the darkness is darkness, he has decided to conquer despair with despair. To all the disasters that would befall the sanctuary, this raging shadow will grant them despair equal the despair they would give others.

I never thought it was. I just found it kinda suprising. Despite being the Guardian Dragon of the whole United Sanctuary (I think?), it never really gets mentioned outside of Royals, and occasionally Golds.

When the continents of Cray were once one super continent... ... He was the ancient warrior called a Hero that was the hope of Cray itself. Nearly 1,400 years ago, he began to be called the "Original Saver". According to ancient records, the original super continent was separated by the influence of an alien world... but then a black warrior stood up against the threat, for the sake of protecting Cray from destruction. While everyone was terrified, the people praised him as a brave hero, but it is said he disappears as soon as a crisis is over. Since then, whenever a threat from an alien world approaches, it is said that history records this black warrior appears, but who he is or why he fights has never been written in the chronicles of history. This hero never overlooks those who would try to destroy this world. If they are an enemy to Cray, it doesn't matter if they're aligned with light or darkness or nothingness, they're his enemy. The coolest thing about the lore, aside from the fact he's batman, is that it confirms Kai's thingy about saying how it's a world similar to ours. Given it had it's own Pangea.

 

Also the break ride feels... Meh ish. It's good for Zeal, and alright for other builds. But I prefer the risk/reward of the other one.

I'm not really sure about the Pangaea thing. The above is Ark's translation, while I've seen another translation(wiki's) that translated continent as nations. I guess this is the first time that Ark's trans and wiki's trans difference actually becomes relevant.

Sanctuary Guard Dragon's lore imply one unified nation(or maybe only DE and US), so both are posibble. Also this implies that Void/LJ in a different name, has tried to invade Cray for a long time. The last sentence obviously refers to PBD and LJ, but the Light part is interesting. Do this imply there's once a threat from the United Sanctuary? Maybe this refers to the First Dragon Emperor, the son of Sanctuary Guard Dragon. Or maybe not, and this is only a red herring.

The Ezel is just a poster used by Doctor O. (It's the Season 2 poster, with Vermillion and Ezel on it.)

I feel like they're hiding it because obviously something has given them the strength of actually coming forward. One would assume it would be Voidmaster Reverse.

Her favourite spot is the outskirts of sunken ships, where fishes of diversed species gather. She was picked up by "Granblue" when she was discovered by a certain sea navigator after she became a ghost. Though being a spirit, some of her memories of life remain for an unknown reason. For this, she stays on the seabed without fulfilling the role of banshees, which is "filling power into ones' own voices and harbinging disaster to human world". It seems that she had been a noble of high status, because she has the habit of putting up her umbrella when she goes outdoor, regardless of weather, or the current situation that she has become an inhabitant of the ocean. She is so innocent and unreliable that she sometimes forgets the fact that she has died; therefore, the ghosties, underlings of the pirate band, always stick with her, serving as retinues and bodyguards (?).

Another form of the brave hero "Goyusha" who protects the peace of Cray. He wears armor that mimics what some of the other Dimensional Robos wear. In the past, when he had a problem with his combining mechanisms, Goyusha ended up failing to properly combine, so he ended up borrowing the weapons of his friends and allies to fight instead. Although at first glance it just looks like he added some weapons and armor, because he is constantly absorbing the dimensional energy inside the additional equipment, his performance and output is nearly double that of Goyusha's. In addition, he has equipment that allows him to finish combining into his Finish Forms of Daiyusha and Great Daiyusha, and since he is holding back the energy from his usual combining while in this form, he can combine even faster. Even if he is hurt and damaged, he'll never give up. With a body of steel that carries burning justice and courage in his hands, this brave hero will stand up again and again and again.

Dimensional Robo is...
The name given by a group of metallic and mechanical lifeforms that appeared on Cray from another world. Their true name is made of sounds that organic lifeforms can't pronounce. Most of their bodies is made of unknown alloys and technology, and the current equipment on Cray can only analyze 10~20% of their composition. In their original reality, they belonged to a vigilante team that fought and captured criminals that caused trouble in multiple realities, but they considered protecting Cray as one of their most important missions.

戦闘教団に所属する生え抜きのエージェント、「バトルシスターズ」のメンバー。 教会の表向きの業務を一手に担う有能なシスター。 自分の持ち物に何かと名前をつける癖があり、愛用している双剣も「Mu・Ra・Ma・Sa♥ムラマサ」という愛称で呼んでいる正式名称は「マルチプル・ラディエイト・システム搭載式機械剣Multiple Radiate -sys- Machinical Saber」。 公私ともに「愛」という言葉を多用するが、あまりに脈絡のない所で乱用する為、彼女がどういった意図で「愛」という言葉を使っているのか、本当のところ誰にもわからないらしい。 「バトルシスター」の多分に漏れず変わり者ではあるが、昼の教会で普通のシスターとして振る舞える人員は貴重な為、教会での評価はすこぶる高い。 何かと忙しい「ふろまーじゅ」を表裏どちらの仕事でも積極的に支える、「バトルシスター」達の保護者的存在である。

A member of the Battler Sisters, a religious order of native-born agents. She is an able Sister of the church who single-handedly carries out the official duties of the church. She has a habit of naming her belongings all the time. For example, she calls her beloved twin swords "Mu Ra Ma Sa♥" (Their official name is the "Multiple Radiate -sys- Machinical Saber"). She heavily uses the word "love" both publicly and privately, she abuses it with no sense of context, to the point no one has any idea what the hell she means when she uses the word "love". Though she's one of the many typical screwballs in the Battle Sisters, because of the fact she can act like a normal, completely generic sister of the faith during church hours, which is a rarity, she is considered very valuable by the church. Because she constantly supports the extremely overworked Fromage both publicly and behind the scenes, she's considered something of a Guardian of the Battle Sisters.

A Magus of "Pentagons", whose family serves "Oracle Think Tank". She works mainly as the assistant of "Hexagonal Magus", the Grandmaster of Magi. Since "Hexagonal Magus" cannot leave her residence, this able servant helps her to do plenty jobs without the slightest dismay, such as preparing mana necessary for fortune telling, interpreting the contents of divination and giving commands to other Magi. In addition, her technique of battle is comparable to those of "Battle Sisters", who are professional warriors. As a result, she is also responsible for the security of the Grandmaster. Since "Hexagonal Magus" has announced Magis' resume of activities, the burden of work on "Pentagonal Magus" becomes even heavier.

The Grandmaster of Magi is a great person who exposes herself to danger, in order to secure the future of the mother planet "Cray". Thus, "Pentagonal Magus" has sworn to protect her leader by all means, as a servant and as a right-hand person. She devotes everything for her leader and the planet she loves.

海軍“アクアフォース”に所属する竜戦士。 階級は少将。 彼の部隊は劣勢を強いられている戦においても、決して臆病風に吹かれる事なく常に前進を続ける恐れ知らずとして有名。 逆境にあってこそ前進すべきであるという師の教えを唯一無二の美徳としており、かつて10倍の兵を持つ敵兵団相手に一歩も引かず、自部隊のみで返り討ちに してしまったという逸話もある。 その熱く豪快な性格・戦法に違わず武装も大雑把で、本来艦載砲として開発されたはずの「デュアル・Hカノン」を自分に合う様に切断して使用している。 しかしその威力は凄まじく、一射で海軍の主武装である「アクアライフル」の数十倍のエネルギーを放出するというのだから、いい加減な武装と侮る事はできな い。 通称「蒼波戦艦」――不躾な侵略者に襲いかかるは獰猛なる蒼き波。 飛沫と共に、荒れ狂う激流が進軍を始める。

A Dragon Warrior that belongs to the navy "Aqua Force". He holds the rank of Rear Admiral. Even when his men are outnumbered, he is known to fearlessly keep advancing without turning chicken. From his teachers, he learned his one and only virtue: To keep advancing in the face of adversity, and to never step back even if the enemy forces are ten times the size of his. He usually tells this anecdote to his men once they've turned the tides. His hot, heroic personality and way of fighting are matched by his rough handling of his weapons, using his "Dual H Cannons", which were originally developed as gun batteries on carrier ships (and frankly they look like he ripped them off of one as it is.). ... Though their power is ferocious, as they release energy equal to several tens of times the power of the ":Aqua Rifle", the main weapon in Aqua Force, so you can't just take him or his equipment lightly. He is called the "Blue Wave Battleship"... ... because he washes over any impudent invaders like a ferocious blue wave. With the first spray, a raging torrent begins to rush forth.

 

This guy is a badass. Also, it's CB2 apparently.
