evilfusion
I had dropped 1 Crescent to proxy this. I dont think Crescent is THAT good.
Lonk
Crescent is good first turn, but ends up pretty dead afterwards.
Dementuo
I might just run 30spellbooks.dek at 41 just for this. That's what I'm doing.Nobody ever runs crescent. Yes they do.Crescent is a good card still Guys, you also realize that you can dump out the extra Crescents with this + Hand size limit rule? I've played a number of test games where I ended my turn by pitching a dead monster (Like destroyer) and a Crescent because I had 7+ cards in hand. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
So the card is good because you can discard it for hand size limit?
Dementuo
So the card is good because you can discard it for hand size limit? You discard extra Crescents/Towers becacause they're clogging the deck after turn 1...
Cute Rotten Yoshika
thank god for cursed seal, honestly. i always have a copy or two in my side and with this becoming a thing it becomes even more relevant.
evilfusion
But then you instead Summon Thunder King Rai-oh.
Sora1499
Or Droll & Lock Bird, which is a hand trap. Spellbooks might actually become meta because of this.
Cute Rotten Yoshika
But then you instead Summon Thunder King Rai-oh. Â obviously thunder king is a good card too. and with my current deck i already main thunder king so cursed seal isnt as necessary. but for decks that for whatever reason cant/dont want to run it, cursed seal is a good option too. Miror B
So the card is good because you can discard it for hand size limit? Â No it's good because it's this is a +25 and you have to discard something, plus the fact that there are plenty of Spellbook recycles.

I don't see cards being useless most of the time as a plus compared to cards that are useful almost any time. Even if you have to discard an okay card, it's better than having a bad card in your hand in the first place. That's just how I see it.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
I personally don't mind the fact that you can search your entire Deck, because TKRO and Droll exist. Â It's another card that can effortlessly Summon Junon that I don't like.

werewolfjedi
funny part is this is also a Maxx c for spells, for the prophecy deck.

Miror B
This isn't like Maxx c at all though. He was saying it adds cards for spells like Maxx C adds cards for summons. Very bad analogy though.
Dementuo
I actually wonder what exactly counts as being activated after this card. If I say, drop Crescent and chain this, does it count? And if I drop this and chain Wisdom, does that count? I'm unsure and should really know this for later.

I currently play it as the card must be activated after Judgment resolved. If Judgment is chained to a Spell Card, that Spell will not count, as it was already activated when Judgment chained (it just hadn't resolved).
