The Big Cattle Drive

Recommended Posts

i guess the implication is that youre marching all your animals to....the slaughterhouse? i dunno, this cards never made much sense.

It's a continuation of the artwork in The Big March of the Animals, which the original name of this card also referenced Which is my issue with the name. You should have it work thematically.

Harpie Queen was censored.

Manticore of Darkness was not.

HAVE A NICE DAY~

>Sees Manticore of Darkness' crotch behind Behemoth the King of Beasts' behind with Behemoth looking exhausted.

Besides that...strange artwork, I've never actually gotten around to trying this card.  It looks balanced, but is it really useful?

For once I agree with Agro. Its a rather odd name change considering that the only thing that would even remotely classify as a cow would be Abare Ushi Oni- *notices Manticore*

1. So how is Harie Queen more worthy of a censor.....?

Wait, you can't use Spells/Traps OR effects?! And not just effects of Spells/Traps?

So it also prevents you from using Monster Effects during that turn?

Card looks good on paper, but it's rather mediocre as far as I can tell, and worse if it stops you from using Monster Effects in addition to Spells/Traps and/or the Effects of S/Ts. That means you pretty much have to swarm out of nowhere on your opponent's turn, or have pre-existing Field advantage. At which point, this card becomes "draw more cards you probably don't need".

It's easy to get a +1, probably, but it's so restrictive that other than maybe Harpies using Hysteric Party during the opponent's End Phase, you're not going to get major plusses.

It draws 1 per varying type, not 1 per each of those given types you control.

Unless it was reruled, which I never heard of.

Now the card sucks in my eyes.

I guess I've never read a really clear translation of the effect.

So it only draws a maximum of 3 cards, requires you to be running Monsters of different Types (regardless of the pseudo-synergy they have) and control such monsters on a turn that you cannot activate cards or effects. Hmm...no, I'll pass now.

If it allows Monster Effects, it's at least considerable, but...
