Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Number C" monster with the same Type as that monster you control but 1 Rank higher, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to that target also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) Then, negate the effects of all cards currently face-up on the field, except the Summoned monster.

It's like Drill Warrior, in the sense that:

"Drill Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters.
Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can halve this card's ATK (permanently). If you do, it can attack your opponent directly this turn. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can discard 1 card and remove this card from play. During your next Standby Phase, Special Summon this card, if removed by this effect. Then, add 1 Monster Card from your Graveyard to your hand.

The effect happens in a sequence.
Summon -> Then Negate.
Bottomless/Torrential can't be activated when an effect is activated that negates all other face-up cards/recovers a card from the Graveyard, as that's not proper timing.

He used shock on his last turn for spells... then on this turn, he flips the Westlo and summons the Diplo targeting judgement, I act in response and he claims that shock is still stopping spells :/

I probability wouldn't of even activated the 2 wisdom's I had set...

Shock Master's duration is from the time you successfully activate it, all the way until the Opponent's End Phase.
It does not once carry over into a whole 'nother turn beyond that.

Got Gorz, BLS, and Sorcerer. Unfortunately, Bear was able to get rid of BLS and then Tiger King ran over Sorcerer. Dead draw after dead draw after that.

This was a fun one, I could have won if I had attacked one of his monsters with blue eyes, but I made a misplay anyway, and he allowed me to win, so it's all good (is in rated btw). He was playing some Hieratics, with some Synchro action going on. I couldn't get rid of his Azure, so I needed the right cards. Boneyard really saved my bum this time around, and PoA also really helped me. Sometimes, those cards you might see being dumb in the deck help out a lot, and this was one of them. I might have used the idion wrong though, but what are you going to do in the heat of the moment when your first language isn't english?
