I mostly want to know the reason that people run Threatening Roar over this for certain decks. I can think of only a few reasons, such as Zenmaines stll ramming a monster or Tiras getting her pop, but other than that and not revealing a set monster, I don't get it. Are these reasons enough? Waboku has even more chainability than Roar, and can potentially save you from battle phase shenanigans, as well as be used on your turn if you really needed to do your own Tiras (though Zenmaines wouldn't work).

Here's a card that loves Waboku and hides behind it to troll.

OT:

Threatening covers for some of Waboku's flaws (stated above) while the only real downside it has is that you need to activate it before even the first attack is declared, but that's not too hard.

I personally like Waboku more because it can combo with other cards unlike Threatening's only function, even if it means having bigger holes for your opponent to slip through.
