T.G. Recipro Dragonfly

It has generic materials, so any deck that can make formula can make this.  It comes hand packaged with a de-synchro effect, which practically sets it up for pumping out quasars.  It would probably have some decent potential if T.G.s were actually the synchro-ccentric deck that the anime made them out to be.

Discuss.

It's so meh. Level 2 Synchros are nowhere near that easy to produce without Glow-Up, and this only works on TG Synchros, and it sends them to the Graveyard. Its only function would be to send Blade Gunner to the Grave to bring back the Materials and then go for Quasar using this and those Materials.

And that's pretty mediocre, even for a combo, because if the TG Synchro left the Field, it's no longer bonded to the Material and therefore can't revive them.

Correction.
TGs WERE the Synchro-Centric deck the anime portrayed them as.
Striker to 1 pretty much killed-
Wait, no.
Agents (to an extent) killed TGs.

Well, technically true that TG could Synchro spam...it just cost an absurd amount of advantage and resources with no REAL way to compensate. Thus, the Synchro-centric playstyle TG used was flawed, whereas Synchron oriented Decks were constantly producing advantage by reviving monsters. TG could SS plenty, but they used the hand too much whereas more top-tier Decks used the Deck and Graveyard.

But when alls said and done, you gotta' admit... Blade Blaster as a viable boss monster was pretty incredible.

I spent 90 minutes trying to figure out a way to make Quasar with War-Buren, Machine Duplication and some other card. 20 minutes in I realized it was impossible to get there with only WIND monsters. Not once did I consider this card; Level 1 Tuners are so rare, and non-Tuner monsters so cheap, that this card serves no purpose. Even as a Junk Synchron target for Wonder Magician, I'd prefer Catapult Dragon.
