Lazy Monsters Format

Recommended Posts

This is more of a casual format than an idealistic one. Just for a change of pace:

Other than these rules, everything else is pretty much the same.

1-Monsters need 1 less Tribute if you play them in face-down Defense Position.

You do not need to show the monster or tell your opponent when you are doing this. The point is to make cards like Labyrinth Wall and Nobleman Eater Bug more viable.

2-Special Summons have a (-1 attack) on them the turn they are Summoned.

This means that if a monster like Blade Armor Ninja, would attack twice, they'll be able to attack once instead (if you think it's worth it to detach for a single attack in that situation that is) while most monsters simply will have to wait until next turn. Also, if a monster has a sort of "if you do, it cannot attack this turn" effect, it will also not be able to do that effect (in the same way "tapping" effect for MTG work).

NOTE:

Yes, I had no idea how to call it, and I'm still not sure of the title.

Comments/Suggestions/Anything?

EDIT:

After 8 or so edits.... I don't wanna progresively complicate this. Just deleted a rule.

Best card of the format.

Thanks xD
I noticed it, but am hopeful that it's not gonna be a totally debastating staple..... maybe.

At least you can hit it violently without trigger for a bit, or use Nobleman if Seting does get to be used as much as I planned.
