Ghostrick Alucard
Dark Zombie / Xyz / Effect
RK3 1800/1600
2 Level 3 monsters
Your opponent cannot target other "Ghostrick" monsters or face-down Defense Position monsters for an attack. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Set card your opponent controls; destroy that card. You can only use the effect of "Ghostrick Alucard" once per turn. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 other "Ghostrick" monster in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand.

The Xyz, obviously.

What, is it Halloween already?

Also, this is the real Alucard.

OT: IDK. Depends on how good Ghostricks are for some effects.

The first and last seem semi-decent. Might be great if Ghostricks play on something like that.

The second seems good I guess, maybe really so. IDK about meta and all really.

The stats are kinda sad though. Like Chain. Or Emeral. More of the effect. :I

But it could be good. IDK.

EDIT: Just realized Ghostricks were Ghost + Trick. I feel slow. xD

...Nobody pointed out how it is a generic set popper?  For what it matters, Ghostricks would need something like this based on what I have heard they would do.

Well, that's kinda the reason I posted it, when idgaf about Ghostricks atm.

It's Dracula spelled backwa-*shot*

It looks amaizing, can't wait to test it.

I wonder if they are going to release R1 and 2 Ghostrick Xyz in the next set(s), and if they would be fiends and spellcaster types, respectively. That would be neat.

[s]Well apparantly, yngaf about Ghostricks.[/s]

And seeing how Ghostricks work now, it works incredibly well with Witch Stun.  I like how it also laughs at face-down Marshmallons.

It's ATK is actually not too bad, considering it's the highest Ghostricks get so far. It is also a direct attacker on paper from what I've understood of their support.

It's overall a pretty neat card, as everyone said already.

Ghostricks have potential, but they need more support if they really want to come into meta. What I really wished, though, is that they didn't have that annoying Normal Summoning restriction. Would they be too broken if they didn't have that condition? I don't believe so. Also, Level 3's should be Fiend-type, instead of Zombies, for Tour Guide Shenanigans.

See the joke is that you have to set them.

Nah

I'd rather see them work with what they currently are. It's all about the flavor.

They are ghosts, so you cannot see or touch them (they are face-down and your attack goes direct).

They scare you away with their mischevious tricks, forcing your monsters to hide (face-down Defense Position).

They cannot just, appear out of nowhere. A good ghost waits for the right time o3o
