When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: Declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap); your opponent sends 1 card of that type from their Deck to the Graveyard. During your next Standby Phase after this monster was destroyed and sent to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect: Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.

I want an archetype focusing around this guy. Still, probably my on my top 10 favorite cards. Remember getting one as a kid and I just found my old copy, so nostalgia is nice.

Its effect is really sort of weird, but probably used to be really tough back in the day. I'm sure it was more used for its essential immunity to effect destruction, but being able to send cards from the Deck was better when the game wasn't full of cards that WANT to be in the Graveyard. Calling Spell is probably the best option, considering how crucial Spells tend to be.

I always liked Phoenix better for the revival. V-Lord was cool with Pyramid Turtle, though.

Hey guys...
Why do all the vampires in, Twilight Sparkle?

Either way, I love this card's ability to eat through the Opponent's deck with such a precise sort of effect, it's almost like surgery.
Which is funny, since, you know, vampires... Hospitals... Blood banks...
(Yea that joke sucks is terrible)

He is underestimated when trying to remember Goat Format builds. He was actually among the highest ATK stats out there, made your Sakuretsu, Fissure, Dark Hole, Dark Dust, Lightning Vortex, Mirror Force, and sometimes Ring of Destruction, all go minus. It's also a format in which players always ran similar builds to a degree, so speeding the amount of options your opponent will NOT have, was always a nice bonus. Not a game-deciding factor, but it helped enough. Just what you'd expect from an extra.

Too bad Cyber Dragon virtually eliminated this card's ATK's meaning, and Phoenix outclassed it's revival effect completely.

I still own a secret rare in good conditions, and I think the art is unbelievably awesome.
