X-Over Academy: The Summoner Tales

A great magician's academy once limited to magicians, but now we accept both magicians and non-magicians alike, knowing that everyone has potential, even if they are unaware. X-Over Academy. A grand Magician's Academy initially by magicians for magicians. But now, it accepts 'normal' people too. X-Over Academy is bustling with much life, and has stood for many years.

This year's batch are a lucky batch. They are the very first batch to witness and use the 'Summoned Servant' system, where they will be able to summon a familiar spirit from a different world to be their partner, their ally, their friend.

This year is a new school year for you. There will be new friends to make, new adventures to seek, new threats to counter. Define and shape your life today at X-Over Academy.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Arc 0 - New Beginnings]
The new students have arrived and have been integrated into their new classes. Their very first lesson of the day - a test. The Summoned Servant Test. The students will be integrated into their classes and lessons will commence as per normal.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Rules]
1. Please follow the basic rules of YCM and the RP forum.
2. No godmodding, bunnying, etc.
3. Your summon can be canonical or custom, the number of your characters with canon summons must be equal to or less than those with custom summons. This does not apply to people with one character only.
4. No overpowered familiars. However, you can do something like summoning such characters in the form of an Overdrive Skill, provided they are very close comrades to your familiar. Something like a knight coming for his damsel in distress.
5. Your character's element need not match your familiar's.
6. You are allowed to have different-element skills for familiars, although you must state what element those skills are.
7. Any canonical blood pacts e.g. the Valvrave turning you into a space Vampire or Sebastian Michaelis stealing your soul are not neccesary.
8.Have fun. Also, only up to four characters.
9. If your familiar is a limited shapeshifter or summoner, his or her forms or summons are allowed to be a different element than he or she is.
10. If you have read the rules, add an additional 'others' section at the end and give a little trivia on both master and familiar alike[/spoiler]

Here are the default abilities and weaknesses of each element...

Earth Grants enhanced tracking skills, although only limited to things directly touching the ground. Weak against Nature
Nature - Grants the ability to communicate with plants and animals. Weak against Frost
Frost - Grants natural resistance to cold. Weak against Fire.
Fire - Grants natural resistance to heat. Weak against Water and Wind.
Water - Grants underwater breathing capabilities. Weak against Lightning.
Wind - Grants high jumping capabilities. Weak against Lightning.
Lightning/Metal - Grants enhanced speed. Weak against Earth.
Balance - Grants enhanced strength. No weaknesses. This is basically 'Non-elemental'.
Light - Allows one to see clearly in absurdly bright conditions like a flash grenade. Weak against Darkness.
Darkness - Allows one to see clearly in dim conditions. Weak against Light.[/spoiler]

Familiar - An assistance or sidekick of sorts who aids the magician.
Yggdrasil Drive - A gague that builds up when you are hit, or when you hit someone or something in combat. When it is filled, you can activate your Overdrive Skill
Overdrive Skill - Your familiar's ultimate attack. It can be used to summon a broken character, or it can be something canonical, like an Astral Finish in Blazblue or a Killer Move in Accel World. Other stuff are fine. Go crazy here. [/spoiler]
[spoiler=Teachers and classes and perhaps the student council]
The teachers of the different classes. They use powerful familiars and have powerful magic. Because they are teachers. They are NPCs played by me.

Principal Stilton - The Principal, obviously. He is eccentric and doesn't reveal much. He doesn't have a familiar, and claims to 'not require one'.
Ms Hilda Strom - The teacher of Basic Battling 101, where students learn the basics of battling, items essential and stuff. She acts cute, because that is what she is on the inside - her head is all meadows and fluff. Her familiar is Haruto's Valvrave from the Valvrave the Liberator Series.
Professor Sigma - The teacher of Basic Magic 101. He is silent and speaks little. His familiar is Kanade Tachibana from the Angel Beats Series.
Ms Hillary Strom - The teacher of Advanced Battling. She is serious and upright, and is the identical twin of the other Strom. Her familiar is Chamber from the Suisei no Gargantia Series.
Ms Ragnarok - The teacher of Advanced Magic. The adopted child of the Principal. She is energetic, yet strict. Her familiar is the Predaking from the Transformers Prime Series
Dr. Terrence - The teacher of Field Studies. He enjoys giving trivia. His familiar is Ben Tennyson from the Ben 10 Series

Kana Furukawa - The second-year student council president. She is kind of a klutz, and is pretty short. Her familiar is Gilgamesh from the Fate/Series.
Xavier Alcott - The second-year student council vice president, and the only other member of this pathetic council. His familiar is Princess Celestia from the My Little Pony series.

[spoiler=Notes and School and Stuff]
The one and only difference between this world and our workd is that this world has completely different TV shows from our world. Same applies to video games and stuff. In other words, you shouldn't be able to recognise a familiar immediately.

Despite my above statement, mythology in our world is identical to that in this. In other words, you may be able to recognise several familiars as alternate versions of mythical characters (e.g. Athena with the Gorgoneion, Sigurd with his Balmung, King Arthur with his Excalibur, Oda Nobunaga with his will to unify Japan, etc.) The Cthulhu Mythos Deities are worshipped as gods in this world.

If someone has a familiar that exists as many(e.g. A common Pokemon, some unit soldier, etc,) others are allowed to have the same familiar as well. Don't overdo this, please.

While you will learn new spells, your familiar too, will be allowed to learn new skills too, given my permission. Just send me a PM regarding the basics of your familiar's new skill, and I will see whether I approve of it.

You will recieve a device known as the 'Resting Stone'. It is a device that can be used to keep a knocked out or dead familiar, or one that is too big to carry around, so that your familiar can be revived or replenished.

Curfew until 7pm. Lights out at 10pm.

This is a massive crossover RP, so yes, we will be realm travelling later, although only during field lessons.

The school dormitaries are mixed dormitaries. Each dormitary houses a student and his or her familiar. Apart from that, no sharing. These dormitaries have 10 stories with a hundred rooms each.

School uniforms take inspiration from traditional Japanese school uniforms. Black with stripes of white at the cuffs. Red ribbons for girls.

Each classroom is 40 metres tall.

Duels without a teacher's consent is forbidden by the school rules.

The school library has information about many worlds, as well as fiction books from this world and other worlds.

North to the school is the Sun beach, where students and teachers alike can go play on summer or weekends.

To the South of the school is the Grass Meadows. This is where you go for your first Field Lesson.

Further south is the Dragon's Den, a cave that is forbidden by all to enter. Otherwise, expulsion will occur.

Going West of the school leads to the Iron City, which is made of steel. Numerous shops are lined here, and it is a residential area. This is where students enjoy going during weekends.

Further West is some factory. It is forbidden for students and teachers alike. Expulsion may occur.

Going South leads to an odd swirly thingy. Students who go too near it rarely come back. Only students cannot go near this area, otherwise expulsion occurs.

Name: Ace Exceed
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Ace has short, spiky blond hair. Standing at 5 feet 11 inches, he has a lean figure, but he is still very muscular due to his extensive speed training. In other words, Ace is very ripped. He has dark blue colored eyes. Whereas his hair is the normal blond color, his eyebrows are much darker, though they are still considered blond. Ace always wear a long strip of white cloth around his forehead as if it is a headband (think karate headbands).
Outside of his normal school uniform, Ace wears a black sleeveless shirt with black fingerless gloves. With his black sleeveless the scar on Ace's left shoulder becomes apparent. He wears typical navy blue jeans, and black/white vans. Along with all this, Ace will usually be seen with his earphones in his ear.
Element: Lightning

Personality: Though he is very passionate about training and battle, Ace is an otherwise carefree person. He doesnt care much for most things and usually has a laid back personality in any approach he takes. It's difficult for him to grasp the seriousness of any given situation and usually feels there is always a way to right the wrong. Though not very sociable, Ace is a kind-hearted person who doesn't normally dislike anybody and usually gives a person the benefit of the doubt. This makes Ace seem a bit naive, but he likes to think that everyone has good in them and that one just has to find it. Although normally relaxed, Ace is a completely different character in battle. Seldom does one see Ace in a battle where he isn't smiling. He thoroughly enjoys every battle he takes part in and is a very competitive person. His competitiveness leads to his love of training as well, as he strives to be the best he can be.

History: Ace grew up without either of his parents. No one knows what happened to his parents as they both dissapeared on the same day when Ace was just 4. Until he became a teenager, Ace lived in California with his grandparents. Once he became 15 he dropped out of school, feeling he learned all he needed from the various academic subjects. He decided his next teacher would be nature, so he left a note for his grand parents and began living in isolated mountain ranges within Northern California. There, he trained his body to its physical peak, and became a talented hunter and gatherer. More importantly however, Ace discovered he had the ablility to create electric waves and currents from his body, and he somehow also had the ablilty to absorb lightning. After turning 17, he encountered a mysterious man wielding a katana in the mountains. The man challenged him to a fight, which Ace happily accepted. However, Ace was badly beaten, and the man left Ace a scar on his shoulder as a way to always remember his defeat. This inspired Ace to grow stronger. Just a couple days letter another mysterious fiigure appeared, but this one only gave Ace a letter. Ace was surpised to find out that someone knew of his magical abilities, but took the oppurtunity as a chance to increase his strength so that he would one day be able to find the man who humiliated him, and return the favor.

Name: Sonic the Hedgehog
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Franchise: Sonic the Hedgehog
CANON
Appearance: Sonic is a blue hedgehog with green eyes. His attire includes a simple pair of white gloves and light weight, hyper friction resistant red sneakers with white strap cuffs and gold buckles. He stands at about 3 feet 3 inches, or 100 cm.
Sonic's Super Sonic transformation turns him to a brilliant gold color. His head spines become longer also point upwards instead of downwards as the normally do. His irises become a reddish color, and his eye shape changes to give him more of a mean and serious look. Along with all this, Sonic also becomes engulfed in a fiery yellow aura.
Element: Lightning
Skills/Powers and Abilities: Supersonic Speed: Sonic can move at the speed of sound, High Jumping Abilities: Sonic has a abnormal vertical, Extreme Acrobatic Skills: Think a master gymnast x10, and Hand-to-Hand combat skills: He is an experienced fighter and knows some martal arts.
Weapons: None
[spoiler="Overdrive Skill"]Super Sonic Transformation: Sonic is able to transform into Super Sonic, and gains new abilities. These abilities include: Light Speed Movements: Can move at the speed of light, Flight: Can fly, Super Strength: Has above average strength, able to lift cars and other heavy objects, Ability to Shoot Energy and Lightning Bolts: Can shoot out lightning bolts from his hands and is also able to use his bodys energy in the form of gold enrgy attacks, and Creation of Energy Shields: Able to utilize chaos energy to create shields. Sonic can only keep this form for 10 minutes (3-4 posts) and is extremely fatigued after his time in this form and becomes virtually powerless. [/spoiler]

Personality: Sonic has been described as being like the wind, a drifter that is always on the move and is noted for being free-spirited and adventurous. He values freedom above all else, living his life according to his own rules, rather than the standards of those around him, enjoys nothing more than the endless boundaries of the world while searching for new adventure. With a strong passion for enjoying life, Sonic is never dwelling in one place for too long and is always moving forward to look for new experiences, making his life a series of adventures and events, while enjoying his freedom.
Sonic is mostly laid-back, cool and enjoys relaxation, though he is often impatient with slower things, and firmly stands for freedom, but he is never one to rest in the face of injustice or oppression. He hates evil in all its forms and can easily be riled up about it; if he witnesses someone being opressed, are suffering from injustice or are simply depressed or despairs due to others' actions he will not show a moment of hesitation and will instantly step in to help those in need, even if it means that his actions will be met with contempt.
Sonic is extremely benevolent though he has been described as quick-tempered occasionally. Despite this, he always remains loyal to his friends, always keeps his word and he willingly puts himself at risk to help others, taking on any challenge that confronts him without hesitation, though he usually sees his heroics and fighting evil as an opportunity to have fun, making him somewhat of a thrill-seeker. However, in times of crisis, he focuses intensely on the task at hand and sees it as truly serious with no real fun involved, as if his personality had undergone an astonishing change. Despite this, Sonic's cocky, upbeat demeanor will remain unchanged, being foregone in only the most dire of situations.

History: Although Sonic was born at Christmas Island, Sonic's favorite place to go was South Island. It was one of the few regions that contained ring portals that gave access to the different dimensions that held very special and omnipotent gems known as the Chaos Emeralds. More than likely, though, he was never concerned with any of that.
Sonic liked nothing more than to just lie back on the beach of South Island and listen to music. Sonic loved rock music the most and was even singer in his own rock band as a vocalist. He loved hanging out with his friends, but he enjoyed just as much to be alone and wander the lands aimlessly, in endless search for adventure.
Sonic would be enjoying himself were it not for the endless amount of wicked plots to take over the world that his arch nemesis, Dr. Robotnik (or as he is more commonly addressed, Dr. Eggman) had up his sleeve. But in the end, Sonic always managed to outsmart Dr. Robotnik, earning celebrity status across the entire world (most of it, anyway), revered as a hero and loved by all. All was well until Eggman came up with his best plan yet upon hearing the stories of the Chaos Emeralds…
Dr. Robotnik vowed to get the Chaos Emeralds and soon built a giant metal fortress, constructing an army of various types of robots to go out and search for the Chaos Emeralds. He knew those emeralds could be used to make devastating nuclear weapons or things of the like. They'd be perfect for taking over the world. But Sonic, ever the hero, stood up against Dr. Robotnik and eventually managed to defeat the robots and Eggman; cornering them in the fortress they came from, and told them never to come back out. Eggman sulked in defeat, but still vowed that he would get the Chaos Emeralds and exact his revenge on Sonic.
Since then, Sonic has always ended up having to save the world or somebody from Dr. Robotnik's clutches. And along the way, Sonic has made many, many friends and nearly as many enemies. But saving the world is a mere distraction, since right after that, Sonic is off to his next adventure! It's the only way to live life without regrets!

[spoiler=Appearance:]Garris is tanned male with ruffled Blue hair and dark green eyes. He is 1.7 meters tall and his face is pronounced, although he lacks many teeth because he's often too busy with things to even care about them. He has large Muscles, especially in the arms, but his robe actually hides them. He wears a chain shirt and brown pants, covered by a White furry robe with golden chains connecting the center of the robe. Both his gloves and boots are Black with several studs on the wrist. He often wears a ring while wearing his School uniform, which seems to be more of a class ring. A Closer look at his face often shows bags under his eyes, often from not sleeping for days.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Personality:] Garris is always a serious studier and worker, He almost always busies himself with all sorts of tasks. He has a hatred of playing pranks, even with his familiar, Veirus. He always loves to do something productive, despite seeming lazy about 50% of the time, in addition, he is deceivingly smart, and often likes to surprise people with that fact. His favorite food is pretty much anything sweet. He dislike eating sour food, like lemons.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=History:]Garris was a peculiar person, he was born in a poor family that often traveled, but he did not stay with them after turning 10. He often lived out in the wilderness, where he built a lot of Muscle and learned how to fend from himself. One day passed, when he was about 15, when he somehow gained the ability to talk to and understand Animals, he could also "feel something in the air". It was merely a year later when Garris got the invite to the X-Over Academy, curious after reading the letter, He pressed the Stamp.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Appearance:] Veirus is a Light-skinned Woman with long white Twintails, Red eyes and a pair of Fox ears sticking out of her hair that a good bunch was stained red with blood. She is 2 meters tall, and her face is beautifully curved, although her smile seems to remain Confident and wicked in it's own way. Veirus wears a white Vest and a red Skirt with both red and white Detached Sleeves, adorned with Black Ribbons and a multitude of Bells on her waist, Her bust is extremely large and the outfit shows it very well. Her shoes are black with ribbons tied all over her legs, wrapping around them beautifully, and her hands are often still pawed in her human form with her black paws. Looking closely at her face shows that her face was tattooed with a purple pattern representing arrowheads and a beautiful white tail.

Her Fox form consists of a black Pawed, White Fox with Various red markings on her face and bloodstained ears and a long white tail. Her Fox form is the most often seen form of her.[/spoiler]

Forms: During the Daytime, Veirus reverts to her Fox Form, only allowing her to use her bolt spells without elemental Shifting, however, She is able to make 3 charges of bolt spells with a single charge. She gains her human form at Night or when her Yggdrasil Drive is 30% or higher.

Icebolt: A Frost spell that creates a Small ball of ice that can be shot at your opponent at high speeds, 5 of them can be Saved up to orbit around Veirus and shot in the manner of a revolver, While her Staff is equipped, 3 Shots from her Icebolt gives her 1 Charging level, where each Icebolt does more Damage, When the Charging level is Maxed at 3, Her element Shifts into Frost and She can Cast Ice Spear
-Ice Spear: Her staff must be fully charged with Ice, via her Icebolt, to use this spell. This Fast-charging Frost Spell fires a Spear of ice, that harmlessly freezes it's victim on impact, which the Ice around the victim Subsequently explodes with the chance of the Freezing spreading to others, can be charged up to 5 times for more potency
Firebolt: A Fire Spell that creates a Small ball of fire that can be shot at your opponent at high speeds, 5 of them can be Saved up to orbit around Veirus and shot simultaneously, [acronym="Note: She does not automatically gain 2 charging levels by firing 4 Firebolts Simultaneously"]While her Staff is equipped, 2 Shots from her Firebolt gives her 1 Charging level[/acronym], where each Firebolt does more Damage, When the Charging level is Maxed at 3, Her element Shifts into Fire and She can Cast Fireball
-Fireball: Her staff must be fully charged with Fire, via her Firebolt, to use this spell. This Slowly-charging Fire spell can be thrown after being charged 5 times, Dealing insane amounts of damage in a wide area to others and the environment on impact.
Lightning Bolt: A Lightning Spell that creates a Small bolt of lightning that can be shot at your opponent, 5 of them can be Saved up to orbit around Veirus and shot simultaneously at different enemies, [acronym="Note: She does not automatically gain 2 charging levels by firing 5 Lightning Bolts Simultaneously, then 1 more afterward"]While her Staff is equipped, 3 Shots from her Lightning Bolt gives her 1 Charging level[/acronym], where each Lightning Bolt does more Damage, When the Charging level is Maxed at 3, Her element Shifts into Lightning and She can Cast Thunder
-Thunder: Her staff must be fully charged with Lightning, via her Lightning Bolt, to use this spell. This Slowly-charging Lightning spell, Although Faster than Fireball, shoots Charged Electricity as a Lightning Bolt at multiple enemies, This Electricity stays in the victim's body, Turning them into Living Lightning Rods, Up to 5 charges can be used with each charge hitting 3 enemies a charge with a number of Lightning strikes equal to the number of charges
Hailstorm: Must be charged with any element alongside of having 30% of her Yggdrasil Drive filled to activate, Regardless of the element charged, This Ice Spell Dispells the charges on her staff, then creates a Snowstorm around her that does not affect anything temperature-wise, the Snowstorm lasts about a few minutes, After the spell is cast to make the Snowstorm, Veirus positions her staff to gather chunks of ice from the snowstorm to hurl at enemies
Summon Golem: Requires her Cylinder to use this, She summons a seemingly harmless pile of huge rocks.... She can hold still and Concentrate to form it into a particularly fast golem that can barely catch up with Lightning element wizards and familiars with powerful attacks, Attacking Veirus returns the golem into a pile of rocks. It shares all 3 of Veirus's Passive Defenses
Barrier Spikes: Requires her Cylinder to use, She can cause a bunch of wooden Spikes to protrude from the ground and form a barrier
Heavy Stander: A Passive Defense that requires Veirus to fill 65% of her Yggdrasil Drive to gain, [acronym="Just to note, I will use my d20 for this"]It randomly causes Melee attacks to bounce off Veirus, often creating vulnerabilities with the attacker[/acronym], the force of the attack still harms her, but with reduced Damage
Natural Shield: A Passive Defense that requires Veirus to fill 50% of her Yggdrasil Drive to gain, It stops any Non-Magical ranged attack just inches from Veirus's body, the force still harms her, but with reduced Damage
Mana Deflector: A Passive Defense that requires Veirus to fill 50% of her Yggdrasil Drive to gain, It dispels any Magic attack just inches from Veirus's body, the force still harms her, but with reduced Damage

Infinity Staff: A special Black Staff with a Demonic eye in the center, She focuses her powerful magic using this staff, but to shift elements using her Bolt Spells, She must use this.
Earthquake Cylinder: A Black and White armament that seems to resemble a Cannon Strapped to her Arm, She loads certain Crystals to cast her 2 Alchemical Skills with, Summon Golem, and Barrier Spikes.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Overdrive Skill(s):]
Awakening of Light: When used, Veirus gains a Shroud of white around her, alongside with White Wings of Energy as a shockwave expels from her. While in this state, Her Life-Force and Stamina Regenerate at an astounding rate, She does not need to charge her staff using her Bolt Spells to use her more powerful Spells (Aside from Hailstorm, Which does not need to be fully charged anyway), She gains all the strengths of each element, she becomes Light element, and All attacks against her, although still hurt her, They do cannot interrupt her actions. Instead of Consuming all of her Yggdrasil Drive, Only 25% of it is consumed to activate it, Then is dispelled after a certain amount of time or after her Yggdrasil Drive drops to 25%, Whichever happens sooner.

Novem has messy dark-brown hair in a scene-like style, short at the back, but long enough at the front to cover a section of his face. He also has light skin, dull brown eyes, and a young figure , making him look like either a boyish girl or a girlish boy. Combined with the baggy grey jacket that he always wears even with his school uniform and casual dark jeans, alongside his (her?) just-as-laid-back personality and almost-cynical expressions, and even boxers for underwear, he makes it difficult for anyone to determine whether he's a male or a female.

He dislikes changing his clothes, which is why he may spend days wearing his school uniform with his jacket over it, causing his appearance to look disheveled over time, although he himself obviously either doesn't notice or doesn't care. He may also wear a thick blue scarf at times, but that's about it. He doesn't seem too inclined about his own appearance, and besides, there's a certain handsomeness or beauty that isn't tarnished no matter how much he lays back in carelessness.

Novem is fairly strange. He has a laidback and cynical attitude about life, and is lazy almost all the time despite his innate talent for...just about everything except socialization. It's hard to know about his likes or dislikes, although he does seem to prefer doing things that doesn't require hard work, and dislikes heat. His expressions are hard to read, as he'll have that same lazy look whether he just earned the lottery or his classmate had just been involved in a car accident. Because of this, his thoughts are a mystery to everyone around him.

If he starts paying attention to a certain someone, it's very hard to figure out whether he likes or hates them. Not only is his/her gender unknown, but he specifically says sometimes that s/he doesn't differentiate between them, that there's no difference between a boy and a girl. Some people may take this to mean that s/he's bi, and if that were the case, it would be even harder to figure out whether s/he's a boy or a girl. Even his parents have forgotten the answer after having dedicated themselves to magic over their own child. It seems that the only way to find out would be to shove his/her pants down, but there's no way he would ever let anyone do that, as lazy as he is.

Despite his uncaring attitude, there are things he cares about, even if he makes no effort to show it. Still, one thing's for sure; if he's ever serious about anything, he would cause the end of the world as we know it.

November was born on August, but s/he was named after November because that was the month in which s/he'd been conceived. Not only that, but he was born and raised in Antarctica (Chilean territory). His parents had only begun practicing and learning the art of magic, and thought that they should seclude themselves from the rest of society to make things easier for themselves. It helped that their primary goal was to weaponize the state of 'absolute zero' in matter, which the coldness helped in. A bit.

As both of his parents were too preoccupied with studying as much magic as possible and making money online to have supplies shipped in, Novem had to learn growing up by himself in cold climates (the facility heaters didn't help much, but instead of making him the independent man one would think he'd become, he turned out to be incredibly lazy and uninterested in anything, disappointing his parents.

So when a letter suddenly -and somehow- arrives to their home in Antarctica, his/her parents jumped at the opportunity to get rid of him/her, since s/he wasted resources that could be otherwise used to help them. Naturally, Novem was indifferent about it, even though this would be the first time s/he'd be going to a more normal place. Overall, s/he isn't expecting much.

Oktavia has a young figure, with light skin, short blue hair, and bright eyes to match. When she has legs, she's about 5"2 feet tall, but her mermaid tail is naturally longer and adds an extra four inches to her overall height. The scales on her tail are of a steel blue color, and it ends in a beautiful forked tailfin.

Most of the time she is equipped in lightweight ornate armor, divided primarily into four sections. First is the metallic neckbrace to prevent her head from being suddenly decapitated. Then there are the two sleeve-like gauntlets that cover up the entirety of her armors. Finally, there's the chestpate, which is stylized more like an armored dress, extending down into a skirt. As there's no time to equip underwear while transitioning from human to mermaid form, it's all she has to cover herself. Also because of this, she has to constantly fight barefoot. She also wears a pink ribbon above her chestplate, an emerald queen's standing collar behind her head in the shape of a heart, and occasionally a high-pointed tiara with the points resembling swords.

If you have trouble imagining it, here's a picture.

In her true witch form, she grows largely in size and becomes something more like a monster, with only vague resemblances to her...no, its humanity. Dressed in ornate royal armor complete with a helmet and a richly decorated cape, it holds a large cutlass its hand and has a fiendish mermaid appearance.

Sword Projection: Oktavia possesses the ability to project swords of any size, but as she can only wield either two at a time, this tends to be useless. She cannot control them telekinetically.
Pain Immunity: When stabbed or such, Oktavia will not feel any pain resulting from it and will remain unaffected. However, this does not mean that the wounds are negated - it's still there, she just doesn't feel it.
Aquatic Healing Factor: Since Oktavia doesn't naturally heal, she must submerge herself within water to trigger her healing factor. Because of this, she is far more formidable under the sea than on land. Also notable is that she can breathe and move freely underwater.
Mermaid/Human Form: By concentrating, Oktavia is able to turn her tail into two legs, allowing her to walk on land. However, not only is it difficult for her to keep balance, but she also has to constantly keep her concentration and exert energy. If anything distracts her, they will automatically revert back into a mermaid tail.

Weapons: The swords Oktavia generate can be of any size, but are always cutlasses; short swords with a curved blade, best used for slashing. Notably though, it does not have a handguard.

True Witch Form: By temporarily letting go of her humanity, Oktavia will burst out of her humanoid into something far more monstrous and unnatural. In this form, she is granted primarily three different skills.
  • Witch Labyrinth: A world, similar to a Reality Marble, will automatically generate itself around Oktavia and drag anyone nearby inside it as well. Her labyrinth world resembles a distorted concert hall on the inside and train tracks on the outside. Finding the exit is a difficult challenge.
  • Familiars: Alongside her world, Holger familiars will be created. They are mostly harmless however, as their only duty is to perform. Several of them form a hollow orchestra that continually plays music for the witch, but those who listen to their music long enough will begin to go insane.
  • Wheels of Fate: Apart from the massive sword she wields, Oktavia can combat all of her opponents by manifesting large wooden carriage wheels to trample over them.
The more she is in this form, the more feral she becomes, the more she forgets about herself, and the harder it becomes for her to change back.

Oktavia, the mermaid witch, tends to be desperate for attention even if she tries not to show it. This leads her to be arrogant and try to show off her skills in front of everyone else at times. She also falls in love very easily, switching from one guy to the next, and may be perverted at times. Although she wants people to love her, she is very insecure about herself, and cannot trust anyone who loves her back because of this. At the same time, she is very confused about her identity and her past as a certain 'Seyiku?', unable to remember a thing.

As much as she'd like to do it, she will not resort to backflips during a battle since her transitions into mermaid form prevent her from wearing underwear, and will (attempt to) remain footed on her feet at all times. Even if she easily falls in love, she would still prefer to be modest about her own body.

Once upon a time, there was a girl called Sayaka Miki. When she was young once, her parents took her to watch a performance by a boy the same age as her, Kyousuke Kamijou - although he was young, he way he played his violin was absolutely beautiful. She fell in love with him on the spot. Years later, tragedy struck when his hand ended up permanently crippled. To cheer him up, she visited him day after day, bringing music to help. But one day, he just snapped and voiced how much he hated listening to it. Only magic could heal his hand and give him the ability to play the violin again. That was why she turned to the magical messenger Kyubey, and wished 'to heal his hand.' In return, she was turned into a magical girl, defender of truth and justice!...if only. The truth turned out to be far different. Despite her sacrifice, Kyousuke ignored her in favor of her best friend Hitomi. Not only that, but all of her ideals turned out to be flawed. A redhead called Kyoko, while they were enemies at first, understood her and tried to help, but Sayaka pushed her away. Finally, she realized that 'I've been such an idiot', before drowning into everlasting despair. By the time she emerged, she had already become a mermaid witch.

Appearance: Xishun is a rather tall lady of 1.7 metres tall. She has bright, obsidian black eyes and very dark green hair on her head, tied into a ponytail with a navy blue ribbon(think Houki-like hairstyle). Her figure is curvy and slender, reaching a B-cup. Her arms are rather slender, although her thighs are slightly thick.
Along with the standard school uniform, her skirt is a little too long and her ribbon a little loose. Her uniform is untidy, with her top only halfway tucked in. She wears simple white knee-length socks with her red sneakers. When outside school, she can be seen with white bandages covering her chest, along with a white jacket over her body and white, tattered jeans. She also wears sunglasses.

Shenlong - For now, this water-based spell is at its most basic stage. Xishun can currently summon a giant water-based Eastern Dragon to protect her, although said water construct is only three metres long for now. This water construct launches water from its mouth. At a more advanced stage, it can shift to boiling or freezing water.[/spoiler]

Personality: Xishun is simply a delinquent. There is almost no situation where she won't kick up a storm. It is an everyday thing for her to pick a fight. She acts in a threatening manner towards others, even her familiar, Crow. However, she considers Crow to be her crowsest ally, and always says 'Crows before hoes'.
She is overprotective about her friends, and believes that she must fight for them if she really treasures them. She is a persistent one, and will not stop, even after casualties occur. She often has to be restrained from doing things others consider 'foolish', such as risking her life.
History: Xishun was born in a middle-class family in Hong Kong. Her father's side of the family were martial artists, and her mother's side were magicians. She was stuck between both sides, stressed and unable to decide which side to choose, so she decided to practice both for the time being. Her stress gave her a rather rebellious and aggresive personality. Hence, she could never find a guy to love her.
As a result of practicing both, her martial arts and basic water magic became one, morphing into a skill she dubs 'Shenlong'. Her parents were shocked upon noting so, but were rather confused, especially since it was now impossible to seperate her martial arts from her magic.
She eventually recieved a letter to X-Over Academy, which her mother had previously attended. She decided to set her sights there in order to use martial arts and magic seperately.
Others: She will eventually obtain a silver-hued crowbar from the Iron City, which she will use as her weapon.
She has excellent hand-to-hand combat skills, and slightly enhanced strength from training.
She just cannot help but use brutal fists and magic at the same time.

Name: Silver Crow
Age: 14

Appearance: Silver Crow is a metallic, silver-hued humanoid with a green circular faceplate. He is around 1.8 metres tall, and is more slender than any ordinary human. Some areas, such as his midriff and neck are dyed blue. His 'gauntlets' are silver with green 'gems' in them. His leg areas are covered in silver, down to a pair of shoe-like structures that act as legs. He can sprout silver-hued wings that appear to consist of many inconsistent hexagons, arranged in neat layers.
Apart from the school uniform, he can sometimes be seen wearing a sole green T-shirt with the silhoutte of a silver Yatagarasu on it. During battle, he takes it off to prevent damage, as he has a habit of losing limbs. Actually, he doesn't need to wear clothes. He can walk around naked like all Burst Linkers, although he chooses to wear the school uniform.

[spoiler=Skills/Powers and Abilities:]
Silver Crow is the only Burst Linker capable of flight. The only way of negating his (initial) sole ability is breaking his wings.

Being made from silver has many advantages, such as heavily enhanced acid resistance, and being used as a vampire slayer's ultimate weapon of mass destruction, where he can just hurl himself at a vampire or something. However, he conducts electricity really well, which is a bad thing unless he wants to be a sacrificial lightningrod, although this can be countered by Earthing himself.

Originating from the Incarnate System, he improvised 'Laser Sword', a glowing handblade that cuts through anything. It can enhance into 'Laser Lance', which is basically the same thing with a longer range. As stupid as it sounds, the Incarnate System runs on willpower. Without willpower, it won't work. The Incarnate System can also recreate limbs, except these limbs are made of Incarnate System constructs. This system also allows him to run vehicles without ever needing fuel, utilising will as a primary power source. For the same reason, he doesn't need a driving license.

A 'Zero Fill' is experienced when Silver Crow has absolutely no will to fight anymore. In which, he will enter a state in which he shuts down all systems and just stops functioning until he has regained his will.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Overdrive Skill(s):]
Silver Crow's All-or-Nothing Kick - Silver Crow flies up high before sicking a powerful dive or kick at the opponent. It can break through any form of protection and does a brutal amount of damage, if my implications are understood.

Chrome Disaster - Silver Crow transforms into a Holy Spirit brutal monster of the Darkness Element. He now possesses additional equipment, the Star Caster, a powerful sword that can detect the power level and strength of a foe. Chrome Disaster spews flames, and also shoots wires from his hands that hook onto objects, allowing him to swing or pull objects, like how spiderman shoots web. He also recovers health by consuming other beings. However, in this state, Silver Crow goes berserk with his newfound strength, and hence, this skill is not reccomended. The only way to reverse this state is time manipulation, which means that Crow is permanently in this state otherwise, even if he gets killed and respawns. It was once said that 'a kiss from a close person' may work too. Either way, both methods require him to stay in one spot, which is very, very, difficult, and hence, this form will only be used as a subplot.[/spoiler]
Personality: Silver Crow, despite the heroic impression of a knight in shining armour, is actually more of a chicken than a crow. He is pretty timid, and cowers at many things. He is actually quite the crybaby as well. Generally, he is frightened by a few things.
However, this 'chicken' is no doormat. When faced with difficulty, he will attempt to overcome it at all cause, stating that he wants to get stronger for 'her', said 'her' probably being a close comrade or lover. As long as 'she' or any otherclose friend is on his mind, Silver Crow will always have a reason to fight like a bird of prey.
He likes to eat a lot, which is why he is pretty fat as Haruyuki Arita.
History: Haruyuki Arita was born to a regular family. His parents divorced when he was young, and thus he lives with his mother. Due to stress and depression from the loss of his father, he started to eat a lot, and eventually became rather chubby.
This was the prime reason why he was being bullied at middle school. This bullying persisted until he met the student council vice-president at his school, who introduced herself as Kuroyukihime. She found a way to expel those bullies, and literally even changed Haruyuki's life by introducing him to a game that was more than a game - Brain Burst.
The dubious Brain Burst was the one thing Haruyuki could excel as. In the world within the Brain Burst, the Accelerated World, he takes the shape and name of 'Silver Crow', the first and only flying duel avatar to walk this virtual plane. This was the dawn of Silver Crow.
Others: Silver Crow will not appear as Haruyuki Arita at any time of the RP.
Silver Crow is no birdbrain. He is extremely intelligent, and relies on his wits in almost every battle.
He has a 'feeling of innocence' within him, which makes him rather likeable.[/spoiler]

Appearance: Alice can be identified with her shimmering blue eyes and platinum-blonde wavy hair, ending in slight drills. She wears a pair of thin glasses and a black beret on her head. Her body is rather slender to the extent that she lacks curves, only 1.37 metres tall. Her skin is pale and her limbs are absurdly slender.
Along with her school uniform, Alice's outfit is accompanied with black sneakers with black-and-white thigh-highs. In her casual outfit, she wears a gothic lolita-style dress, which is primarily black with a white ribbon at the back.

Personality: Alice is quite gentle and kind. She respects the choices of others, although she believes that some feats are dangerous and should not be performed. She cares about her comrades' safety, and puts hers behind theirs. She believes in sharing, and does not like those who take everything for themselves. She happens to believe that there is good in everyone, even if it isn't there.
History: Alice was born in Paris, where she lived a simple life. She lived with a single mother as her father left before she was even born. Her mother began to work as a chef once Alice became more responsible and independant, allowing life to be easier for them from then on. However, they still lead a rather hard life, but they manage to pull through. Alice had to buy imitation goods to keep her image up, and was often mocked in class by some. Her mother hoped that her daughter could one day lead a better life.
Alice had finally recieved a letter regarding 'X-Over Academy'. She believed that she finally had a chance at good education, hence she decided to go there in order to ease her mother's life.
Other: She speaks in a French accent, primarily because she is French. And loves crepes.

Appearance: Touko is only 1.43 metres tall, and she practically lacks any sign of curves. Her pink hair nearly reaches the ground, and is cut into a hime-cut. Her left eye is a sky blue, and her right sealed by a madical eyepatch. Her skin is rather fair, and her limbs rather slender.
Apart from her school uniform, she also wears other forms of clothing. You can see her with a ponytail or headband if you are lucky. She can sometimes be seen wearing a simple black, sleeveless dress coupled with a red scarf. In all her outfits, she wears black thigh-highs with black shoes.
Element: Balance
[spoiler=Skills/Powers and Abilities:] Touko can turn into ten different forms through a device that she has in her right eye. It is identified as the 'Omnitrix', but Touko calls it her 'evil eye'. Each of these forms last up to five of my posts. After that, a two post recharge where Touko is most vulnerable occurs, where she has to rely on her own wits.

Desert Eagle - A gold-hued metallic eagle of the Earth Element. Capable of flight, and launching rock bullets from its mouth. These rock bullets can build up into one complete boulder to toss at the foe. Desert Eagle can also generate sandstorms.

Psycho-Pass - A Darkness Element form that takes the form of a gothic lolita-clad little girl with stitches and dall joints all over her body. Her species in literally the most insane species in the Ben 10 Universe, and she is armed with an axe. She is highly brutal and is only used as a last resort

Genome Tree - A human-like Nature Element Form that looks like a tribesperson. Capable of manipulating non-sentient species, such as plants and animals, and mimicking their abilities.

Hecate - A witch-like Balance Element Form. Capable of manipulating energy projectiles referred to as 'mana' in the Ben 10 Universe. Through this, she can use telekinesis, and can split into three.

Leviathan - A serpentine, winged Water Element form capable of flight. She manipulates wind as well as water, creating mini-thyphoons, floods and whirlpools.

Prototype - A mechanical being of the Lightning Element that appears to be based off the mecha musume archetype. She can shift into an actual, life-sized fighter jet. Capable of flight and can hold up to six people in her combat mode. Capable of firing a large arsenal of missiles and energy projectiles.

Alucard - A vampire-like Dark Element form. He can stretch his elastic arms, as well as run at high speeds and exert extreme strengths, although his defenses are rather weak.

Astaroth - A succubus-like Lightning Element form. She can shoot electricity from her appendages, and is granted with the ability to fly.

Foxtrot - A nine-tailed fox-like Fire Element Form. She offends with blue flames, and has minor levitation.

Killing Time - Touko transforms into Killing Time, a mechanical, Balance Element form with control over time. Killing Time is able to slow down or speed up time up to four times, and also fire metallic knives from its claws. It can also reverse time to a minor extent, effectively healing wounds. However, this form lasts 2 of my posts.

Personality: Touko is a shy and silent one. She speaks very little and is pretty antisocial. She dislikes interaction and only accepts people she is close to. When one tries to interact with her, she shies away, blushes and pouts. She will only accept those whom she believes genuinely wants to be her friend, which is oddly rare.
History: Touko was born to a normal family and was the only child. Her parents are usually out working, hence she has her childhood friends to care for her. At the age of 9, she had an eye infection and thus wore an eyepatch. She did not really hang out with anyone, save her only two friends.
One day, she found a mysterious device that diffused into her eyepatch and literally gave her back her vision. She trusted this secret of her 'evil eye' with her friends, who researched into it further and linked it to one of the greatest legends of the galaxy - the Omnitrix.
Overtime, she met nine other Omnitrix wielders whom she befriended and together, they continuously fought evil and injustice on Earth. They ultimately stopped a threat against the galaxy who referred to itself as 'The Great Harbringer', who claimed that he would be back...
Until today, Touko still worries. She now finds herself in the X-Over Academy, where she fears that the Great Harbringer may be.

When he's not wearing his school uniform, he's wearing a white shirt that reads 'Little Sister' in Chinese/Japanese on the front. He also wears that inside his school uniform at times. He can also be seen wearing blue jeans to accompany it.

Personality: You may think Gerald is 'dark and edgy', but he's not. He sees himself as 'logical'. He doesn't believe in miracles, luck, or all that stuff, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have an ounce of hope in him. He just believes that you have to keep working if you want something to happen. He will mock you if you use a sword against a gun, until he realises that you are actually skilled. He believes in smart choices and logic instead of strength.
History: Gerald was born into the Ragnaroks, a bloodline of powerful Alchemists that practiced the secrets of alchemy in hopes of creating the philosopher's stone. They were debatably hideous yet beautiful beings, although very well-respected. They have reigned for a thousand years.
Sadly, one very sad thing happened. A mysterious entity genocided his whole family, leaving no identified survivors. Gerald, however, was revived by a kind Necromancer and was taken in to be her foster child.
Until today, Gerald is trying to look for the other members of his extinct race. When he recieved a letter from X-Over Academy, he knew what he had to do. He believed that a magician's Academy was the key to finding any other surviving member of the Ragnaroks, and maybe get a family to replenish his bloodline.
Others: Gerald is afraid of fire, and doesn't want to go near it. He cowers at the sight of it. Due to this, he can't cook, and doesn't want to.

Name: MISAKA 10063

Appearance: MISAKA 10063, being a clone, looks like every other Sister and the Originator, Mikoto Misaka. He has short, brown hair, tied up into a short ponytail, similiar to Terrorist Misaka. He wears a pair of black goggles that are usually found on her forehead. His eyes appear lifeless, like all Sisters. Despite being male, he still has some curves, like the other Sisters, and is 1.61 metres tall.
His uniform is a female uniform. He has goth-punk-style white stockings with his shoes. His casual outfit, is ironically, the Tokiwadai school uniform, complete with the skirt and a white dress shirt under his light brown vest. In this state, his hair is clipped at the side instead of a ponytail.

Skills/Powers and Abilities: Back in her world, MISAKA was classed as a Level 3 Electromaster. He has displayed the ability to control electricity in numerous ways for combat, and with the additional ability of manipulating and detecting electromagnetic waves to a rather minor extent.
His second ability is 'Radio Noise', which connects him to the rest of the Sisters through a hivemind network of sorts, where they share memories and experiences. This probably won't be applicable unless someone else has a Sister or MISAKA Worst as a familiar.
Weapons: His goggles concentrate electricity so that it can be fired from his eyes, and also detects electromagnetic waves and see in the dark. He also carries a rifle, an FN F2000.

Personality: MISAKA is quite the flirtatious one, and he is a little 'slutty'. He will often attempt to seduce Gerald, and perhaps, many others, no matter their gender. He is highly sarcastic and appreciates
History: MISAKA was born like all the rest of his sisters - cloned at the push of a button, before having accelerated growth performed on him. Initially, his ultimate destiny was to be killed by Accelerator, the top Level 5 in Academy City, and be used as a mere grinding mook like his 20000 other sisters in the Level 6 Shift. He had one minor glitch that made him different from the sisters - he was male. Of course, this wasn't a factor that really affected the experiment, so he wasn't spared.
Once the Level 6 Shift was cancelled due to a certain miraculous intervention by the Original and her probable boyfriend, the remaining 9970 Sisters were spared. Some(10 actually) roamed around Academy City like normal civilians, most of the others were sent to other countries. 10063 was one of the lucky few to remain in Academy City, doing almost nothing, being part of no school. Despite this, he managed to learn new skills every day and even aided others with his Electromaster ability, and evolved into a Level 3 through the collective hivemind of the MISAKA Network.
At some point of time, he was part of the 'Level 6 Mass-Production Project', in an effort to use MISAKA 10063 to reproduce with the other Sisters to a generation of supposedly higher-levelled Electromasters, who would in turn give birth to another generation of even higher-levelled Electromasters and overtime, Level 6s would be theoried to be produced. This project failed due to MISAKA 10063's lack of cooperation and the other Sisters' unwillingness.
Others: MISAKA speaks in a manner one would consider odd, ending with 'says MISAKA' or practically anything among those lines. He refers to himself in first person.

While he wears his normal school uniform, he wears black boots or a few pendants that have symbols from his books (hand-made). Occasionally seen with a wristband made of leather as well. In his normal attire, it depends on where he's at or heading. If he remains inside his dormitory, then he will wear loose robes, helping a flow of energy conduct itself (and not so restricting). If he's going to public places, he'll wear a traditional metalhead's clothing of black combat boots, black leather jacket or such, etc.

Although to being a very headstrong character, he doesn't appreciate taking orders from others lightly, even from authority figures, unless he somehow benefits from it. Home-schooled by whatever teachers his parents hired, but occasionally gets along well with the local neighborhood kids he finally got around to hang around with, until his parents moved again, but for the final time; they moved back to Germany. Well Stark got tired of the world, as it was far too boring to live in. He never had any true friends for himself, or anything truly fun to do. While he never had someone to talk to, he always had his thoughts to ponder upon. Eventually, he found himself pouring his attention into some dark occult studies, but only for the sake of it being a hobby. He never intended to actually use the knowledge he accumulated, but only know it. One day, while strolling in the park with some of his books, some suspicious fellows carrying large cases were starting to surround the park area. Worried that something my happen, Stark hurried over to where he could find safety, and try to call the Polizei, but before he could even press the button, a man who resembled one of the shady fellows grasped a hold of his phone, and crushed it, and knocked him out. While Stark was out cold, the man quickly grabbed him and rushed to the center of the park, shouting for everyone's attention to help him. A successful ruse, since everyone in the area came to see what the problem was. Waking up to everyone being trapped to each other in a circle being surrounded by the men with guns, they circled the group. Stark had no clue what's going on, but tried to remember what he studied in the books he had with him. Remembering what he could, he drew a small ritual diagram and text around it, and tried to unleash the power. Next thing he knew, he woke up in the midst of fire and dead bodies: the hostages that were captive were dead and as were the gunmen. He realized that in his hand he held the sword. He grew disgusted, astonished, and scared, saying to himself, "No... No! This isn't what I wanted! I wanted to save them! Not kill them!" The Umbra Sword only said, "Traveling from one world to the other takes energy. Their souls have been nourishing to say the least. Worry not, wielder, for I am here now..."

Grieving over what happened, the Umbra Sword was sheathed in a dusty white cloth and held up on the other side of the room from Stark. After countless amounts of questions that was direction to the sword, Stark received the letter from the X-Over Academy in the mail weeks later. At first he wanted to rip it up out of rage, but realized that it could help him, in some way or form.[/spoiler]

Appearance: The Umbra Sword does not have a definitive appearance, as the appearance changes from time to time. However, it's current basic form with no souls accumulated is in the shape of a One-Handed, Black Blade, approximately 4 feet in length. After a few several human souls, however, the appearance could be a Two-Handed, Black Blade, with some enhancing purple streaks that glow at a slow, constant rate, assuming the pulsating energy of the souls it has contained. Since the appearance is not always certain, it could appear vice versa, or end up something completely different, as Umbra Sword does not bend to the change of the wielder, and change form whenever it pleases so.

While usually a dark blade in its own right, it can also take the appearance of a normal Daedric weapon as a disguise from pursuers who would try to take it for their own right, ignoring Umbra's law. However, since the blade does not originally have a sheath, it is clothed in a dull white and dusty cloth very heavily to preserve the blade, and to preserve the surroundings of the blade and it's wielder. Occasionally, it can be noted that Umbra Sword despite the makeshift sheath from the cloth because it's dirty and disgusting, and would demand at least a proper sheath to be housed in.

    Personality: Since not much is known about the sword itself outside of the knowledge of wielders, it is only assumed/known that the Umbra Sword chooses its wielders with high standards. So it can be said that the sword is very choosy in matters of all concerns involving it. Since the Umbra Sword now is in possession of Stark, almost all aspects of Stark's daily life are influenced to some extent by Umbra. Although Umbra cannot interfere with Stark's life directly, Umbra can definitely affect Stark concerning his mentality, and perhaps even spiritually. However, because it is choosy in the wielder, it can also care about them to some extent (perhaps only for its own benefit), and can be commanding to a fault. Unfortunately, it can't do any harm to Stark if he's not in contact with it (or so it's assumed).
    History: A Daedric artifact originally created for trapping souls, it was crafted by a witch by the name of Naenra Waerr at the request of the Daedric Prince Clavicus Vile. However, when the sword was created, it was unstable, so Vile imbued some of his power into the sword, stabilizing it. However, as a trick, the sword became sentient, calling itself Umbra. This could be that the witch Naenra was supposedly Sheogorath in disguise or under his command. When the sword was hidden, the witch was executed, but the sword remain hidden and took on a life of its own, choosing its wielders who were worthy enough, and would eventually take complete control of the mind of the wielder in due time. The sword was known to be wielded by a warrior who grew tired of his life, and wanted to a warriors death, and a bloodthirsty mercenary, both who took the name for themselves.
    Other: Being a Daedric artifact, it is a highly valuable, and possibly one of the strongest weapons of its realm of Mundus. Also having some power of Clavicus Power, it could potentially be a Daedric Prince in its own right - I speculate this because of its awesome power, in a sense - and use souls from Clavicus' realm of Oblivion (It does have some of his power, so it should make sense, right?).
    Umbra constantly mocks the mortal's lives as trivial and such, seeing as how a life as an immortal being such as itself was far superior and didn't have time for such trite things (though mocked back by Stark).
    It also hates being sealed in the Resting Stone, so it's usually always shown out in public with Stark.

With his psychic abilities he once forced an entire legion of super humans to their knees. I'm gonna assume I'm not allowed to have him and just figure out another familiar.

Well... Zeratul has a Warp Blade that's supposed to cut through practically any matter at all like a hot knife through butter. He can also teleport in a cloud of black, shadowy "smoke", and can imprison enemies in a sphere of psionic energies. There's one last known ability that's probably the most game-breaking one that Zeratul has, which is the ability to remain completely invisible to the human eye. Can't remember how exactly he can do this, but I think I read somewhere about him being able to bend the light around him. Don't quote me on that though, since lore's not my strong suit.

Perhaps you could make the abilities you deem 'broken' as Overdrive Skills. Although I'm sure that an enhanced sense of smell can negate his invisibility.

 

It would have to be a hypersensitive though, otherwise the guy with that enhanced sense of smell would only have a rough idea where he is at best and have to guess-work from there.

 

Also, invisibility doesn't really work as an Overdrive Skill considering it's a passive ability. But I'll try to find some suiting ones.

He can also teleport in a cloud of black, shadowy "smoke", and can imprison enemies in a sphere of psionic energies. There's one last known ability that's probably the most game-breaking one that Zeratul has, which is the ability to remain completely invisible to the human eye. Can't remember how exactly he can do this, but I think I read somewhere about him being able to bend the light around him. Don't quote me on that though, since lore's not my strong suit.

 

As an RPer, I have a work around for the last two. But what the hell is the limit on the Warp Blade?

So basically you're controlling two characters? Or does a character's familiar only show up when they are needed?


Yes, that's basically it. You can choose to have your familiar walk alongside with you at all times and interact(it isn't against the school rules). Your familiar even sits beside you during class! That is, unless it is a giant, giant mecha, in which they have to sit at the backseat hangars.

You can also return them to your Resting Stone, even if they are not injured.
