Zazubat
Because post count threads is now a thing for some reason! Anyway, this is most commonly seen in Exodia builds, but I am teching it my ZW build so I can more easily get out Claw, and it gets me some draws in the process. But is this worth having in the Deck when you already have Upstart as well? Normal Trap Card Activate only if your opponents Life Points are at least 1000 higher than yours. Pay 1000 Life Points. Draw 1 card for every 2000 points difference between your Life Points and your opponents.
Superdoopertrooper
If you're running Upstarts, that gives you even more reason to run it. You shouldn't really be running this card if you aren't using upstarts. Card is damn powerful when done right.
Northern Sage
Coupled with things like Upstart, it can really add up. Practically a win condition for Exodia.
Dementuo
It's ironic cause when they play this, your Hope for Escape is already gone.
ihop
It's pretty ridiculous with Upstart and Gift Card but actually requires a bit of skill to play as you need to know how much damage is worth taking.
Zazubat
I actually excepted some meh for this card. How many should I use in my deck?
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Only use in exodia and final countdown. There at 3.
Zazubat
Only use in exodia and final countdown. There at 3. That's not what I'm asking... if you read OP, I'm asking if I should use this in my ZW build (claw requires 2000 or more from my opponent so I can play it)
Superdoopertrooper
It can also make Utopia Ray live as well. I'd probably go the whole hog and try running 3 of this and 3 Upstart and see how it goes.

I'd probably go the whole hog and try running 3 of this and 3 Upstart and see how it goes. I'll test it out. Utopia Ray is also fun to play with, though it isn't my main goal. It can be used as an extra Xyz Material though, and you can detach a Material, make it loss some ATK, then Rank-Up, and deal a ton of damage, so that's fun. Coffee Black
Hope can be absolutely busted when used correctly. Drawing 3 or more cards off it is crazy. I use it in an Elemental Hero Air Neos OTK deck. So you basically lower your life as much as you can, Draw off this, then summon Air Neos at a massive ATK. Hope for Escape is the type of card you have to set up for to be successful with it. But yea... using multiple copies to draw basically a whole new hand is wild. Lonk
Air Neos OTK can live off of this card's draw power. You know, since the OTK requires having your Life Points being kept down as low as possible?
Sander
Air Neos OTK can live off of this card's draw power. You know, since the OTK requires having your Life Points being kept down as low as possible? Way to state what was already stated twice. OT: Things borked. I mean, one day, I was playing Hope for Exodia, and I really wasn't drawing into much stall, only this and Gift Card. When I went for it, I had triple Gift Card and either one or two Hope for Escape's face-down. When I did that, I think I was at 3000-4000...doesn't really matter that much, drew a shitton of cards. Miror B
Only use in exodia and final countdown. There at 3. Dark World turbo loves it though.
evilfusion
It's good for Decks that don't mind a little risk by taking damage, and with other draw power like Upstart (especially Upstart), it's even better. But most Decks would find it inconsistent or too risky.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I used this card in the draft tournament to draw 3 cards and help meet the requirements to special summon my game-winning Endless Decay from my hand. Was amazing. It's also played in Air Neos decks.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
*twitch twitch* That was against me. Doesn't make it any less funny! I was considering not using Hope for Escape in the deck, but I figured "Hey, you never know".
newhat
Air Nebors loves it, but this card is best in Decks where you don't take Battle Damage, or only choose whatever Battle Damage you want to take.
-Berserker-
I had to play against this deck this weekend. It was annoying and he managed to beat me. But at least I won one duel using my sided Fairy Wind.
玄魔の王
One of the most powerful draw effects currently available, balanced by the fact you need to balance risk and reward to play it. It definitely helps make Eagle Claw live, but I'd think Upstart and Instant Fusion would be sufficient for that task.
