Burning Knuckle Spirit [Shadow Specters]

Send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard, then target 1 "Battlin' Boxer" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position. You can only activate 1 "Burning Knuckle Spirit" per turn.

Cheat Commisioner will probably be in there, too.

Literally, words cannot describe the happiness I'm feeling, over such an overall improved card, as a means to make Boxers absolutely amazing.
...
And hilariously enough, this could even make Cestus more of a thing, in his matching deck... Heh...

No restrictions on the monster other than its Battle Position. That's excellent. You can SS an Xyz or a Burning Knuckler of any Level. You can do whatever you want with that monster, and you're not restricted in what monsters you can Summon that turn. It's excellent for an interesting archetype.

I knew Knucklers were going to be big. They have a lot going for them. A great couple of Xyz bosses, some simple and quick summoning effects, RotA support, and the fact that they're all fire means a Blaster or two is a possibility, too.

This makes them even more potent. The fact that it's so casual about conditions means it is going to be very useful.

I don't understand how this card is any good really.

Well, you could grab a glassjaw and turn any spare headgear/spar/etc into a leadblow with glassjaw attached, basically cleaning up any useless burning knucklers and turning them into a switch hitter from the GY.

I think the question is a situation where you would actually want to make a second Leadblow. I would much rather continue with the regular playstyle of just sitting on one all game.

As much as I hate to do so, I agree with Norman. Really, an archtype specific MR is neat enough, but not really all that an efficient thing when this card only ever really shines if you mill Glassjaw, which can be done with Chain, but I doubt jumping through hoops will make this better. It's, cute, to say the least, but not what the BK's are looking for.

Honestly, if this had been like Tuning, it would've been so much more useful.

But that can be seen as a good thing, as you can target the card you mill. But the other way around would be better. I still think this is ok, if you draw this without any cards in your hand field, you can get a jaw on the field again.
