X-Metaman
DARK/Rock 1600 ATK/1200 DEF Rank 3: 2 Level 3 monsters. Face-up monsters with 0 ATK are destroyed. During either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; negate its effects, and if you do, its ATK becomes 0. wero-vasto
That negation is sweet. The ATK bothers me, but nothing bad at all.
darkwolf777
Would be neat if the first effect exempted Reptilianne monsters.
Zazubat
Damn, this is gonna be a bitch to deal with. Wonder if they will tone it down a bit.
Aix
Wait... what? Is this thing generic? It's pretty much a monsters-only Pleiades that also negates!
Mugendramon
Wait... what? Is this thing generic? It's pretty much a monsters-only Pleiades that also negates! No, it's more restricted than Pleiades in the sense that if this thing's effect is activated in response to something that removes it from the field, its other effect would not be able to interrupt the chain. Thusly, the targeted monster will lose its ATK and effect, but will not be destroyed. Also it's not nearly as versatile as Pleiades anyway. Superdoopertrooper
This is actually a LOT better than Pleiades. It basically says, "during either players turn, you can negate the effect of a face-up monster and then destroy it". Best Rank 3 by FAR if it gets released as is. Rank 3's are far easier to make than 5's and can also be made easily at a +0 (TGU, Crane Crane, etc). You could even make a deck purely designed to spam this thing and it would do well. 玄魔の王
No OPT Clause? That sounds kinda excessive to me. Defnitely a useful Rank 3, though you can get around this thing.

But yes, it's very very good, not sure if it's the best Rank 3, but it's gonna be a staple that's for sure.

But yes, it's very very good, not sure if it's the best Rank 3, but it's gonna be a staple that's for sure. ??? What is going to remove it before it reduces the target to 0? It's the best Rank 3, it's one of the best Xyz's in general. Summoning this literally destroys 2 monsters on the field, during either players turn, also negates their effects first and can be used to neg things like Spellbook Magician etc from searching, and is arguably the easiest rank to make (4 and 7 are contenders too). How is that not incredibly good? I hope it does get printed as is, maybe a OPT clause nerf but nothing more than that.

Mugendramon
I assume you didn't read what Mugen said. Here's the deal, you misinterpreted. It'll always get a chance to reduce to 0, just not to destroy what it reduces to 0. And it's not like that will ALWAYS happen anyway. What he's saying is right, however what I meant is that when comparing their potential in the decks they can be played in (i.e. you're always going to make Pleiades if you can whereas this is not always the case with this thing), Pleiades is superior. After all, recycling Tenki is one of Pleiades's strongest points in Constellar.

Mugendramon
...However what you said was but if it's removed before it gets a chance to reduce it to 0, it's screwed. And it doesn't get removed before it gets a chance to reduce it to 0. Since you know, chains work backwards. AAAAAND ANYWAY, after double checking, since its first effect is continuous, it does work mid-chain. It works exactly like Bountiful Artemis. Since you know, chains work backwards. I think I am confused. If Gorgonic Guardian is removed by something like Compulse, then the Continuous effect won't kill the monster. That's what I'm trying to say.
Superdoopertrooper
Zazubat used Suck Up! ...but it failed! I assume you didn't read what Mugen said. Why would I even care what was said, because it was incorrect in that it has no bearing on how effective this card will be because the first effect is continuous. And why on earth would you chain Compulse to the effect when you could just Compulse it first, then summon your monster? I think you bad.

-Berserker-
This seems interesting. Hello Mecha Phantom Beasts. Also, it's a generic rank3 Rock Xyz, I could add Dark Gaia to my Djinn Xyz deck.

Zazubat
Well thats stupidly OP'd. youdontsay.gif Well yes, it is, and hopefully it will be nerfed a ton. Should have an Archetype restriction at least.
Aerion Brightflame
youdontsay.gif Well yes, it is, and hopefully it will be nerfed a ton. Should have an Archetype restriction at least. An archtype restriction would make it worthless though. Given if they expand this archetype I will eat a hat. Beyond next episode of course. It's easily the best rank 3 as is. And one of the best Xyz tbf. It will probably have a nerf, I'd imagine either removing the destruction clause, or making it detach both materials. Either or. I would guess this would get a print, since it was featured in JUMP first of all before we saw it here.
