Anything you're afraid of?

I have been thinking about this lately. I'm afraid of heat and electricity, and I think it's because I can't actually see it, but I know that it can hurt me. I have never liked ovens, and I can't really change a light-bulb. I know it sounds silly, but those are just some fears of mine. Normal fears I have are heights and such. I also don't like roller coaster (yes I know), probably because of height, and the fact that I'm putting myself in danger a lot, and the extreame speed some have. I don't really like spiders, but I don't scream like a little girl when I see them, but if I spot one, I am gonna keep looking at it, so it won't go near me, or get rid of it. Ugh, little nasty things. Anyway, what are you afraid of? Do you know why you are?

If you're so afraid to change a light bulb, turn off the electricity before attempting to do so.

Yeah, I know it's silly to be when I can just do that, but for some reason I just can't help but feel like it would still shock me if I do.

Let's see...

Heights.

The Dark.

Blood (which is why I can't be a doctor, so I'm going to work with robots instead, yay engineering).

Large dogs (except Saint Bernards).

Death.

A host of other things.

I also startle very easily. I swear, I've only become more cowardly as I've grown up.

The thought of sharp objects near my eyes. Even typing this makes me feel uneasy and squint my eyes. Like, fuck, knives or needles, Lasik surgery, all fucking creeps me out.

You haven't seen Un Chien Andalou, by any chance? (DON'T google that if you don't know what it is.)

^I'm so scared of small dogs, but dogs which are small and don't grow. Babies and the likes are alright, but small aggressive dogs scare the shit out of me.

Oh that reminds me, I guess I'm also afraid of Chihuahuas because they don't like me.

Could you expand upon that? Are you afraid of dying, or the concept of death, or maybe both?

I'm afraid of dying, simply because I prefer to live and think than not exist. Not of course that I would care if I did not exist, no doubt, but having experienced existence, I'm quite happy to state my preference of it.

All humans have a fear of heights (survival instinct) although it can be 'overcome'.

Mine is probably sleeping alone in the dark. No idea why. Seemed to always have my worst nightmares then.

I did use to be afraid of dogs, because one stole my glove off my hand when I was child, I got over that when I got my dog in 2007 hard to be afraid still when as a puppy he wanted to say hello to all the big and small dogs.
