Gogogo Golem - Golden Form
4 Stars/EARTH/Rock-Type - Effect/? ATK/1500 DEF
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Gogogo" monster you control, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's ATK is equal to double the Tributed monster's original ATK. Battle damage inflicted to your opponent is halved. Once per turn, when an Effect Monster's effect activates: You can have this card lose 1500 ATK; that effect is negated.

It  looks alright to me.

It can use Giant and become a 4000 ATK beatstick.

Between this, Crazy Box, and C69, Konami seems to be preparing making decks have more answers against huge monsters. Particularly in the form of Level/Rank 4. I guess after September, Rank 7s won't be the focus decks. It might take some time to really get started, but that's a possibility.

I believe that it will actually make every monster you control deal half damage by the way it's worded, but I could be wrong.

Considering it's an early translation, I think it only is supposed to mean Battle Damage inflicted by this card. Otherwise it'd be even more awful.

Yuma: What you see before you is the true appearance of my Gogogo Golem!!
Opponent: That's it!? That's it's true appearance!?!?
Astral: That is correct. When Yuma's extreme anger peaks, his emotions become energy. And Gogogo Golem alters his own appearance, changing into the form that can give out maximum power.
Kaito: Which means the only person who can truly unleash the magnificent power of Gogogo Golem, is Yuma Tsukumo. The duelist who has vowed revenge against the Barian Empire.

It's probably funny if I have watched uptil that point. Sadly, I don't get it.

If they ever say this in the anime, I will laugh my f***ing ass off.

Well, Golden Form, or the closest equivalent, was used in the WDC match against Shark. But I think it used a Spell to transform it, not another monster, didn't halve damage, and only reduced by 600 each to negate the effect of Veiss 3 times.

Went over to the Wiki just now- Gogogo Golden doesn't appear in any episodes O,o

FROM ATEM:

DP14-JP005

Gogogo Golem Golden Form

Level 4 EARTH Rock-Type

? ATK

1500 DEF

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.

Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Gogogo" monster, and cannot be Special Summoned other ways.

This card's ATK is equal to double the Tributed monster's original ATK.

Any Battle Damage your opponent takes from battles involving this card is halved.

Once per turn, when a monster effect is activated on your opponent's side of the field: This card loses (exactly?) 1500 ATK, (and / and if it does / also?) that effect is negated.

Not fully figured out yet, but the bottomline is this: It's a mandatory negate.
