Veiler beats optional effects if the turn player allows it to.

The Susanowo's name change... OwO

Wait... this topic isn't even about Susanowo.

Well, you see, even though it's not our culture, we still have the right to think that something sounds fucking stupid.

And making the drastic leap in logic of "You ridicule ONE NAME that originates from a culture" to "You're insulting the culture" has very little logical backbone.  I think Tiki heads look ridiculous, therefore I must hate that particular culture.

I'm sure it'd sound fine if you pronounced it properly like a Japanese person.

Yamato is getting a partner though. Yay.

I think this was discussed last month or the month before in one of my statuses, where I called bull at Veiler stopping Yamato's effect even though it shouldn't have done that, which cost me the game.  Then, you were there and evilfusion politely explained that Veiler does stop Yamato's eff despite being in the End Phase, where Veiler ideally stops having influence at.

I remember something like that. Yeah, I have always been confused on how Veiler works, but I think I get it now.

Optinal = Veiler loses

Mandatory = Up to your opponent.

That's correct right? I might still not get it fully :/

Yes, this is correct.

It's because Veiler's effect applies "Until the End Phase".

I don't think he's saying anything has been confirmed, it's moreso just that that's how Konami usually does things- Releasing TCG exclusives for a new archetype.

Oh, I didn't read that he wanted it, I just saw TCG exclusive and was like ohhhhhh
