Zazubat
About the name changes, I don't mind Crane or Turtle, but Susanowo or whatever is pretty silly.
Blake
Technically, its name was Susanowo in Japanese, according to Ark. That's the specific writing of Susano'o on the card. Also makes it easier phonetically for those who don't know. Why bitch?
~British Soul~
That's the name change I hated. The Bujineti part doesn't bug me as much. I'm not surprised about that part though, even though that was how it was pronounced. Technically, its name was Susanowo in Japanese, according to Ark. Aerion Brightflame
Habakiri / Crane Feth... Didn't even occur to me given that it was one of the Vessels. I'm not surprised about that part though, even though that was how it was pronounced. I'm more happy about it if that's how it is actually said, it's just... it looks wierd. I know it's a stupid thing to hate about it, but it's just something that's bugged me. But good they've stuck with the tradition there.

玄魔の王
I almost wish Konami left the names in Kanji for the TCG cards, just so people at my locals would turn to me and go "How do you say that?"
Dementuo
Susanowo (The english name for it) is an Ultra too. oh thank f*cking god I'm actually pretty happy that, at least so far, I don't have to worry about this becoming another overpriced deck with stupidly expensive Secret rares... Yeah, Susanowo got the same treatment as The first Prophecy/Fire Fist/Mermail Xyz, them being Ultras
Dementuo
Yeah it got the same treatment as The first Prophecy/Fire Fist/Mermail Xyz, them being Ultras um actually mermails and prophecy had their boss monster being Secret, so it would be the same as them if Yamato was Secret while Susan-ow o was Ultra. And I don't want this deck to become like Spellbooks ffs I've had enough of that crap
~British Soul~
um actually mermails and prophecy had their boss monster being Secret Um... I was talking about their Xyz monsters (Hierophant, Tiger King and Abyssgaios), not the archetype's actual competitive boss monsters.
Sora1499
Susanowo (The english name for it) is an Ultra too. That's not ACTUALLY its name, is it? "Susanowo"? Please tell me you're just kidding. OT: Even with the SHSP bujins, Yamato will still be the centerpiece of the deck.

Sora1499
That was its Japanese name, too. What's the problem? It sounds retarded. Susano'o is cool, but Susanowo looks and feels clunky.
Blake
It sounds stupid? Oh, so now you're going to insult Japan for its mythology and how its language works? The sounds wo and o are sometimes interchangable in Japan. In Susanowo's case, it is SPECIFICALLY written with the wo, which is a very particular way of writing Susanoo. It doesn't matter if you think it sounds stupid, because it's not your culture.

Sora1499
It doesn't matter if you think it sounds stupid, because it's not your culture. Well, you see, even though it's not our culture, we still have the right to think that something sounds fucking stupid. And making the drastic leap in logic of "You ridicule ONE NAME that originates from a culture" to "You're insulting the culture" has very little logical backbone. I think Tiki heads look ridiculous, therefore I must hate that particular culture.
Lonk
First of all, I find it sad that people spent a page and a half arguing about Susanowo's name. Second of all, I'm indifferent to the card's rarity. Third of all, YGOPro says that Veiler beats optional effects during the End Phase, and evilfusion explained why. Fourth of all, this is one of my favorite cards and Bujins themselves are just naturally slow (but can control like a mofo if done right).

I was sure that somebody said that it didn't matter for either, maybe they meant something else.
Blake
TCG Rulings say that optional End Phase effects beat Veiler, because Veiler MUST resolve before the End Phase while the optional effect can go off at any time. DevPro is not a source.
Lonk
I was sure that somebody said that it didn't matter for either, maybe they meant something else. I think this was discussed last month or the month before in one of my statuses, where I called bull at Veiler stopping Yamato's effect even though it shouldn't have done that, which cost me the game. Then, you were there and evilfusion politely explained that Veiler does stop Yamato's eff despite being in the End Phase, where Veiler ideally stops having influence at. EDIT: So OCG rulings is the reason why YGOPro negates Yamato's eff, isn't it? Yeah, now my head is straightened out, but dampen it why does OCG have to not have that TCG Ruling?
