Thomas★Zero
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDAY8ZoUnVs (Warning: This effect is based on what's been viewed in the latest ep of Zexal) Number 4: Stealth Kraken the Deadly Poisonous Jellyfish Rank 4 Water Aqua/Xyz/Effect 2 Level 4 Monsters Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card; select 1 monster your opponent controls and destroy it: inflict damage equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster. (Second effect is either the following) When this card is destroyed (either by battle or card effect): if monsters that were used to Xyz summon this card are in your graveyard; special summon them to your side of the field. (or...) When this card is destroyed (either by battle or card effect): summon 2 Jellyfish Tokens (lv 4/Water/Aqua/ATK unknown/ DEF unknown) to your side of the field. (effect unconfirmed) ATK/1900 DEF/Unknown I feel if this is a generic Xyz for the OCG this is going to outclass Maestroke on certain levels. Edit: Yugioh Wikia Version of the effect: 2 Level 4 monsters Cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 WATER monster on the field; destroy that target, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK. When this card is destroyed: Special Summon 2 ??? to your side of the field.
~Shin~
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Number_4:_Stealth_Kraken_the_Deadly_Poisonous_Jellyfish
OT: No way its first effect will remain as is. And materials > tokens hoping they stick with that. Anyways they should be dead before your turn, but stuff can trigger.
Aerion Brightflame
It's first effect is what people have wanted from rank 4 for ages, removal that doesn't cost you the monster. It won't stay the same as it was I'd wager. Likely it will be material specific.
Premier Alexander Romanov
Lolwiki states this is the effect so far. "Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 WATER monster on the field; destroy that target, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK. When this card is destroyed: <Rest of Effect Unconfirmed>"
玄魔の王
Lolwiki's effect is dumb if Mermails aren't gonna be a thing. The OP'sneeds to be Watered down, but specific materials can probably do that.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
If the OP's effect is right, which I highly doubt it is, it will outclass Giant Grinder and Volcasaurus and pretty much every other Rank 4 known to man. If the effect Gendo listed is accurate, it's still good, but not devastating enough to make a big impact. If someone says it will be more balanced because of its materials, but still has its effect in the OP, they should know that making a card specific material doesn't justify a blatantly overpowered effect that's still easier to get out then Grinder/Volca. Toffee.
So.... It's a Rank 4 Volcasaurus.Neat.
heraldry_lord
It's pretty OP as it stands, no matter which version is correct, so it's getting the nerf-hammer. Hopefully they don't go overboard with the nerf.
Toffee.
EDIT: OP contains the actual effect. It's pretty gimmicky with it only being able to destroy WATERs, but I can still it being played... Sorta'.
heraldry_lord
I checked the wiki a little earlier. They say once-per-turn it can destroy an Opponent's WATER monster and deal damage equal to it's ATK. Doesn't mention anything about detaching OR Targeting things that aren't WATER. That's because it didn't detach for its effect and it targeted a WATER monster.
Toffee.
I had edited my earlier post after double checking the OP.It's interesting how it doesn't detach materials, in order to do anything.
evilfusion
I think the guy who used it specifically said "WATER" monsters. And he was always specifically targeting Shark, presumably because his cards focus on Summoning/destroying WATER Decks. I have a hunch this won't be generic when released. It'll probably require 2 Level 4 WATER monsters, and probably have some sort of change of its effect, to specifically limit what it can kill or how much burn occurs. Also the guy did indeed say its effect targets WATER monsters.
Aerion Brightflame
Just had a thought. What if the tokens are designed to be sucidal? So they ram, blow up and burn. It makes the fact it pops water stuff make more sense, because well... It can blow itself up, and get it's tokens from there.
