Field Spell Card

 

Monsters cannot attack directly. When a monster is Summoned, except by this card's effect, negate the Summon and destroy that monster. Then, Special Summon 1 "Mask Token" (Spellcaster-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK ?/DEF ?) to the destroyed monster's controller's side of the field. The ATK and DEF of the "Mask Token" are equal to the respective ATK and DEF of the destroyed monster.

Non-Token monsters cannot attack directly. When a non-Token monster is Normal or Special Summoned: Destroy that monster and Special Summon 1 "Mask Token" (Spellcaster-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK ?/DEF ?) to the destroyed monster's controller's side of the field, in the same battle position as the monster destroyed by this effect. The ATK and DEF of the "Mask Token" are equal to the respective ATK and DEF of the destroyed monster.

 

 

 

This is a very interesting Field Spell to me.  It's similar to Black Garden in that it screws up the monsters you Summon, but unlike Black Garden, where the monsters generate Tokens, this turns the monsters INTO the Tokens, making them effectively useless most of the time. Given how important it was in the one episode it appeared in 5Ds, I'm a bit surprised they didn't release it at the time.  It's meant to be more of an anti-meta card from the looks of it, and they managed to make it more OP in its Tag Force version, where it can OTK hard with Malefics by turning them into massive Token beatsticks that don't need a Field Spell to live, and can exist on the field alongside, and it makes Malefic Truth Dragon playable since its effect destroys.  Is it likely this will ever be released?

A field spell worth being a troll, while being able to trigger most "destroyed by card effect" effects and also being somewhat of a Skill Drain. It ain't worth being released IRL, but I can imagine a ton of fun ways to use this. Too bad I don't got Tag Force or know Japanese,,,,

Sins can and will have a field day with this. Also fun because you could Tour Guide into Sangan, both becomes Tokens, and you get a search. Token Stampede ftw?

On-Topic: This could actually be pretty amusing, give the combination field control and stalling capability this card has. Overall it's very original.

Except for the fact that Tour Biatch is a "When... You can" effect, meaning she wouldn't be able to call out any other monster when Ecole goes off to destroy her.

It's a trigger that occurs when the summon is successful. That's like saying Tuningware or Hyper Librarian makes Junk Destroyer miss timing. It just goes on the chain first, then TGU can.

Think he might have looked at the anime effect, as that card negates the summon as well. Either that or he's an idiot.

Its one of those cards I feel when Legendary Collection hits the 5D era will be one of those cards that has a chance of getting made...

 

OT: I can imagine this to be a key card for Malefic for the fact that it replaces your MCED for a 4K ATK token with no effect draw back of when the field goes it dies, you can only control 1 Malefic monster and that its the only one that can attack.
 

Pretty much means you can spam heavy beaters without worry with this field while making your opponent have a hard time facing them.

This card was actually never shown in English due to 4Kids cutting the series early. I doubt we will ever get this card unless irs released in Japan first

I think I remember a fake for this card supposedly being in LTGY.

Frozen Fitzy as a Dark Synchro was a concept card that was ultimately dropped when Konami decided not to translate the mechanic into the OCG. As for this, I wouldn't be surprised; an image made it onto the wiki of a purple Generation Force box with Sin Paradox Dragon as the cover card. People make fake images all the time.
