Dog King
The other thread for OCG, since the format changed a lot I guess with Heavy gone and loads of traps gone and other stuff. Discuss. I think Blackwings might be really good.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Hieratics are looking good, as they get some new toys this format and getting back their third Convocation to pull the same move multiple times again, plus they have their own Heavy in Wingbeat. Lonk
INFERNITYINFERNITYINFERNITYINFERNIFACKINFERNITYINFERNITYINFERNITY Hieratics will now be fun to play with (and might be a top deck), Bujins love no Heavy but hate the generic backrow hits, and SacredWings lost a Monster Reborn and Number 16, but might have gained more with Black Whirlwind being @3. Besides the obvious Infernity, I really don't see what the top decks will be, which is good.
Rawkobo
Any deck that has a way to Reborn probably has a bit more of a chance. Let's also not forget that Lance is still something to play, which means decks with beatsticks are still good. TL;DR, I'm vouching for Blackwings, Hieratics, 4-Axis and Ghostricks. D.A._Sakuyamon
Madolches Got a little bit sweater. Though the Evac. & TT hit does effect them. E-Dragons might be a thing. Dont know how the list effects them now with the changes. Evilswarn............

Ghostricks aren't TCG legal yet, so you can't vouch for them. I see alot of people on DN saying that Frogs will be the Deck to beat.
Brinolovania
No mention of TGs? Seems like they'll be able to do well, with a generally more control-y format, no Heavy, and 2 Strikers.
Wildflame
Fire King and 8-Axis Fire Fist aren't looking too bad either... Tch, I hope alt. wins top the entire format to make Konami realize how idiotic they are.
Azuh
The only hit Evilswarm took was basically 1 Rescue Rabbit. Shouldn't be that hard to work around. I think this list is really going to have such a great variety now that there is going to be many rogue decks.
vla1ne
This is the way a format should feel. no obvious winners, just rogue decks, all vying for the top spot. personally, I'm hoping plant decks make a comeback, and I'm always hoping for a Batteryman deck to rise to the top. but either way, this format seems like it'll be not only balanced, but unpredictable. and that makes it more fun for everybody who wants to try winning with a deck they like. Maeriberii Haan
Fireking, Rank 4 FF, Laval, Mermail, Frogs, Dragunity, Madolches, Gadgets, Evilswarm, Infernity, BW, Ghostrick(when released), Tele-Bloo-D, Bujin, Constellar, Hieratic, Dragons, Prophecy are all viable. Gosh, that list is huge. Mainly leaning towards Prophecy, Hieratic, and Evilswarm though. But others should be able to compete.
Rawkobo
I'm still vouching for Ghostricks on release. And I'm also going to put in a word for, y'know, X-Sabers.
Maeriberii Haan
Also, MPB and Crystals are surprisingly viable in this format. Machine decks are competitive. T1 ghostrick is imminent though.
El Majishan
DW's will be a thing. They only thing left to keep them in check is Nat Beast.

Gravekeepers and Battlin' Boxers are also viable I think.
Althemia
Mermail. Putting Dragoons and Diva to 1 barely even touches them. They needed to hit Teus to make the deck unplayable.4-Axis. 3-Axis won't top because instead of hurting it, they slit it's throat. They didn't even touch 4-Axis outside of TenkiDragunity. This deck's going to do something now, the lack of backrow is going to promote the everliving hell out of them.Constellar. Deck is literally psycho with no Heavy. Setting a huge backrow with a Pleiades is really strong.I feel like Veiler will fall out of favor this format for Fiendish Chain in the main deck because Fiendish Chain is seriously strong. Also why people keep mentioning Evilswarms is beyond me, they're like the new Gladiator Beasts. The only thing they have going for them is Key Beetle + Vanity to actually do an impact. I agree with this top 4. Constellars are going to be the best deck in my opinion due to your reason exactly. Also I really hope TG Agents become a thing again that would be a lot of fun. vla1ne
I just got done running a few decks on DN with the new list implemented, and I gotta say, I'm currently loving it. sun and moon dragon are beasts when they get a good summon off, I just went toe to toe with gravekeepers and won against them (I am so glad royal tribute is only at 1, I only get hit by it once per match now.). so they at least have some combat potential. and agents... just wow. it feels like they came out of a cast and are able to move around again. Well agents themselves could be a deck with transmodify and top but t.g. agents could aswell, we will have to wait for toronto to see all the crazy decks! Βyakuya
Bujins would be one to join the meta for sure. Vanity's not dead yet, and with an armanent crew of monsters, it's an impenetrable deck that has good battle offense and defense. Mermails, even with Dragoons gone, it's nothing compared to Abyssteus and Abyssphere still swimming about. Maybe Plain level 4 Fire Fists can still work that doesn't use Spirit or Rooster, as with Fire Kings. and though it's nice to see the oldies back, pretty much the only one out of them I'd see coming up more would be TGs. Gotta love dat extra Striker.

Dragons, in some form, I feel, are going to show up. Wingbeat means that the loss of Heavy doesn't really affect them, plus with all the backrow hate, they can OTK faster than people expect. EDragons and Hieratic will probably both rogue about (with EDragons being more prominent in the meta), but I think with Plague and Mezuki back, Chaos Dragons or some Dragon-other deck-mashup like Dragon Drive will put on more of a show. Mermail scares me the most as a deck, still. Infernity and Blackwings won't do shit.
