So instead of releasing Full Armoured Xyz, we're getting a card that is based on "Black Ray Lancer" being equipped with "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". Still, we haven't seen a Chaos Xyz change monster that don't need a RUM card in a while.

On the other hand, you can use this in conjunction with Bahamut Shark.

SS Aero Shark with Bahamut, and then summon this onto Aero Shark.
You now have a 2300 ATK beater that can save itself from destruction and blows up backrow when it kills things to support your 2600 ATK beater.

Okay, normally I wouldn't do this but since it's literally all anyone is saying and that's getting redundant: anybody have a use for this thing besides Bahamut? Let's start with all the Rank 3 WATER:

 

-Aero Shark

-Abysstrite

-Shark Kaizer

-Nightmare Shark

 

Of these, Nightmare is the most useful, followed by Aero. Still, none of them are that cool.

 

How about normal method? The pack does include Double-Fin and Silent Angler...

Wait, that doesn't make any sense. You need a Rank 3 WATER, which eliminates Black Ray Lancer as an option to make something blatantly designed after Black Ray Lancer?

 

And despite being a Rank higher than Black Ray Lancer and the same Type, you can't use Rank-Up Magic on it, because it's not a CXyz or CNumber.

 

This supports my theory that there may be a new Rank-Up Magic being released in the near future, one that's more flexible on what you can evolve into. At the moment, though, it seems like this card is actually easier and more practical to Summon by its actual Summon Conditions than anything else, other than Bahamut Shark.

Well in the anime, Shark equipped Full Armored Xyz to Aero Shark, equipping Black Ray Lancer from the Graveyard to it. So technically it is like a "Black Ray Lancer Armor" on a Rank 3 WATER monster

To correct you on this its in fact 2700 if summoned using 3 Level 4 water monsters ( 3x200 = 600 ) at best since the boost is only for 200 ATK per material for a 2100 ATK body. Unless am missing something like other effects that give additional Xyz materials.

 

OT: Looks pretty decent for what it can do plus the whole Bahamut Shark tech with this seems pretty cool as others would have said.
