Aerion Brightflame
That seems suboptimal because your big dragons return to the hand during the SP, so your field kinda disappears. No, he made Drago-SAC, spawned some tokens, and flipped it after I'd summoned out Kaust and Pollux. He just stuned more for a turn, and the wipe me off the board the next turn. Maeriberii Haan
You'll activate this after you can Xyz all your dragons. Decks that can shift between stun and aggro like gadgets should theoritically able to utilize this card well. When this card is popped, it should have already done its job, so you shouldn't lose anything there. On another note, I don't like the fact that the artwork is basically Vanity's Ruler being an exhbitionist.
Althemia
That seems suboptimal because your big dragons return to the hand during the SP, so your field kinda disappears. Every Dragon Ruler deck plays it as 3. Stardust Radiance yaaaaaaaaay.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
It's been played like that a lot since Worlds, especially considering at the time the only two decks anyone played pretty much only special summoned by an effect rather than inherent (save for when they might synchro AFTER summoning from an effect), so it's always chainable to cockblock the opponent. Plus, those decks didn't really run MST due to confidence, so they got donked. Spellbooks could only use Fate to get rid of it.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
I am now tempted to try this out @1 in my Dragunities. By the time I'm done Synchro'ing first turn anyway, getting out Gaia Dragoon and Scrap Dragon, that's pretty much game. And I like early games. Rawkobo
Every Dragon Ruler deck plays it as 3. Stardust Radiance yaaaaaaaaay. Reasons why November is going to have the TCG format take a dive in tournaments. It's a really good opening play. Don't really like drawing it mid-to-late, though. D.A._Sakuyamon
About the Key beetle thing. Wouldn't Vanity be destroyed before Beetle resolved? Since Detaching happens first.
Rawkobo
About the Key beetle thing. Wouldn't Vanity be destroyed before Beetle resolved? Since Detaching happens first. The detaching is the cost for the targeting that you do for the second link in the Chain, though, so I'm pretty sure that would save it. Could be wrong though. Not really a rulings expert by any means, I'm just going by what I read on the problem-solving text.
Maeriberii Haan
It won't be destroyed by Master Beetle detaching, since Xyz materials is not treated as being on the field.
Miror B
About the Key beetle thing. Wouldn't Vanity be destroyed before Beetle resolved? Since Detaching happens first. You didn't send a card from the field or deck to the graveyard.
evilfusion
Remember, Xyz Materials are NOT considered to on the Field. This is why cards like Sangan don't activate. However, they are being sent to the Graveyard, which is why cards like Heraldic Beast Leo activate. Xyz Materials are in a sort of 'limbo' state when Overlaid. They were not removed from the Field, but they are no longer on it, either. Cards that activate/apply when leaving the Field (Genex Ally Birdman, Chain Dog, E-HERO Absolute Zero, Battle Fader, etc) don't apply. Detaching them is not sending them from the Field because they're not on the Field.
