First of all, she lacks the "This card cannot attack on the turn it is Summoned" clause, which makes her attacking directly viable for a multitude of situations. However, the real shining aspect of TDMG is its Level, Type and the fact that she has the Toon Special Summon clause. I bring these up because there are currently 2 borked Rank 6 Xyz Monsters that requires Spellcasters. Because she Special Summons herself at the cost of 1 monster, it makes it easier to fulfill that condition for the Summon. However, the fact that she needs a tribute to Summon makes this condition slower, which kind of kills the purpose. However, [url=http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120929193130/yugioh/images/e/e2/ToonMermaid-LCYW-EN-R-1E.png]Toon Mermaid[/url] also Special Summons herself for free, is a Toon so she's searchable, and she is easy to use for Xyz Summons as well. You could tech Salvage to recover those cards. Not convinced of this card's viability yet? Well, with the unlimiting of D-Draw and Malicious, you could put the Destiny HERO engine in the Deck and get free fodder for this card. In addition, she's a DARK so that she works with cards like Allure of Darkness and Dark Creator. I've made a Deck that revolves around Toons as just a joke concept because my older brother wanted me to build a Toon Deck. The results were actually surprising. Sure, if you draw into a monster-heavy hand, you really couldn't do anything. Thankfully, I didn't have too many problems with that situation and have actually gotten around to making 1st Turn Noritos and easy accessibility to Magi Magi. Also, you can tech in Dark Red Enchanter easily. tl;dr Toon Magician Girl is awesome, and building a deck around her is easier to do this format. So, why not make one? OT: The fact that you can bring out a instant 2000 ATK beat stick that can directly and be used to make ranks 6's with another makes it a great monster but the fact that toon monsters needs more support is likely the big issues why toon's haven't seen much play. That helps out more than you think. Plus, implementing other ways of going through your Deck makes your chances of going into Toon World more likely than when it was first created in the card game. Posted September 7, 2013 Report Share Posted September 7, 2013 Likely that was from the abridged movie, but ehh...That aside-Literally, Toon DMG is your whole Toon.dek in a nutshell due to the only deciding factor being that she can attack the turn she is played, which lets her out-speed(so to say) the rest of the Archetype easily.
