I'm following the Synchro fad with [De-Synchro]
Target 1 face-up Synchro Monster; return that target to the Extra Deck, then, if all of the monsters that were used for the Synchro Summon of that monster are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon them.
I actually had it used on me the other day when I was facing Junk Doppel to return my Jeweled Red Dragon. Of course it didn't help him because the next turn I just went Scrap Dragon anyway and destroyed his setup. Then proceeded to win via Dark Hole the next turn.

It's pretty good 1-4-1 removal against Synchros.

then that player doing it wrong.

OT: I swear this card pull up wins out of your ass in Junkdoppel even the situation looks hopelessly dire lol. Lost 7900 LP in a turn then next turn pulled 8600 dmg on my friend. It's been my life savour.

It's not that he didn't do it wrong, it's just that E-Dragunities can recover so fast from removal. Especially in situations like this. And still, winning via Dark Hole is cheap.

Maybe this is just from old builds, but I remember it used to be played in pretty much all of them.

Heck, I know that even Karakuri decks don't use it a lot of times, but it's one of the builds.

They did play it in Ragin Turbo back in the day, at least in some builds of it. Even when I first picked up the deck, seemed like even the 1 was a tech. Then Ragin Turbo became completely outclassed by just running it as Synchro Ladder the Deck.

There's also Unicore Control, but that has even less use for this than that.
