'tyleR
How do you all feel about drugs? Pharmeceuticals? Recreational drugs? This includes alcohol. Use of otherwise recreational drugs as medicine? I'll post my opinions after I see yours. Be civil. At least for a little bit.
Tentacruel
Strangely, I'm actually more "against" pharmaceutical drugs than I am recreational. With prescription and OTC meds, I feel like people use them as a substitute for nutrition and general health. With recreational drugs, people know they're doing something that could harm them for fun and only for fun. Anyway, legalize pot, everything else, I'm not really sure. As for personal experience, I have never done any drug other than pain meds, and even then very rarely.

a bad post
Well I'm going to start with my opinion on recreational and illegal drugs since there ones I know most about, pharmaceuticals not so much. See I honestly hate recreational drugs because the one time I've ever gotten high, it was pot, and woke up the next feeling sick and with cotton mouth, and I haven't used them (willingly) since. The only other time I've "used" drugs was when some guy slipped ketamine into my drink (his father was a veterinarian, and he stole it from there) during my freshman homecoming. Thankfully I had taken my friend along with, and she stopped that before it turned into anything bad. I only remember the whole incident cause she told me when I woke up the next morning again feeling like crap. So as you can see my opinion on drugs is not to favorable. Not-so-Radiant Arin
My name is Arin, and I drink an entire bottle of wine each night. Oh, and also, I have Type 1 Diabetes (which I think sort of counts as drugs in this situation) and I have a small bottle of over-the-counter acetaminophen to help cope with my migraines. So mostly I only have over-the-counter stuff.
Sixty
I am strictly against any form of recreational drug use. I don't mind if you do it, per se, but if you offer me any you no longer exist in my mind. As for alcohol, a beer with friends is fine but getting deliberately drunk is another thing I'm incredibly against.
Shradow
This may seem insensitive, but if people want to screw themselves up with drugs, I say let them, as long as its their choice. As for me, I never plan on using any sort of drugs, and I haven't even used any medicine in several years. I prefer to let my body take care of itself, and I almost never get sick as a result, I guess.

I mean I understand if someone offers you some heroin being like that. If someone offers you a hit of a joint, or a beer? I'd say respectfully decline, and then be a douche if they try to pressure. Don't just put them off though.
Kyng's Old Account
I don't have any issue with drugs of any form. I'm intolerant to drug abuse.
L0SS
As someone who occasionally smokes weed, I don't have a problem with it, as the experiences I've had are generally pleasurable and interesting. I've never really suffered any side effects, either. But I can understand why people are cautious, and I can see why people do it. If you feel that it's worth doing, and are willing to face the consequences, then I don't really have a problem with that. Of course, addictive, dependent drugs that can completely make a person incapable of leading some kind of meaningful existence, are too far for me. Cigarettes and alcohol are fine by me, but nothing I do in excess. If you're not affecting others in a negative way, do as you wish.
Cin
I believe sometimes doctors are far too like to prescribe medications when there are most suitable alternatives (such as Depression and Talking Therapy). I've never understood the attraction of illegal drugs, and thinking about it always reminds me of an episode of Suits where Mike and Harvey get high then plan to cause mischief. The only reason why people try illegal drugs in the first place is because they are in fact, illegal. People want what they can't have, or are just rebellious and want to break the rules etc. etc. And then they get addicted and the whole spiral down the drain begins its course. Anyways, the only time I use pharmaceuticals is when I have a headache. Recreational drugs? Cigarettes and occasional alcoholic beverage.

Some people try drugs not because of them being illegal, but other things included, but not limited to: peer pressure, stress, structure of the family, economical state, etc.
Fusion X. Denver
I tried weed once because I was told it'd feel fun and loony. They were right. Though I haven't had any since. Pot and alcohol are fine in my eyes so long as moderation's involved. They really should legalize the former since our judicial system will turn harmless hippies into hardened criminals and ruining their lives by sentencing them to prison over something that's not a big deal. And if you smoke cigarettes, that's fine, but I'll never touch the stuff.
Miror B
Excessive is bad Knowing how much alcohol/drug use you can take before your mind starts to cave in and shit goes down and being sure to stay well below that point is good
Cin
Never understood the point of getting so drunk you can't remember what happened the next day or getting into a fight because your drunk. Feel sorry for the police having to deal with drunken violence.
Rapidfire
I have this huge fascination with drugs, and alcohol a little less. Ironically I don't do drugs, but you know it all depends on who I'm friends with. If I wanna try them I'll do it with the right crowd and not the wrong crowd. Ya feel me? But all in all it's doing these things all the time is so overrated. Do it when you feel like it but don't make it a habit, there are other things you could do.
