It's very cool, it's balanced enough as it is, since Level changing is always kind of meh, but it can create a lot of good combos, and some Decks don't care about the loss in hand. Other than that, if any cards nowadays deserve to have "discard" as their cost, it's THIS kind of self minus cards. Would it be too overpowered to give Fableds a toy?
