OOH~ I GOT IT!
Normal Summon Marauding Captain and use his effect to Summon a 2nd. Use Level Meister to discard a Level 4 and make your Captains level 4. Then set Typhoon and Lance. Opponent's turn rolls around you use Lance and Chain your own Typhoon to it.
Roach is the only thing you control.

I call it Infernity-Ghetto.

It requires you to control less resources than your opponent to use, but is that really a bad thing? I mean the only time you ever really want to nuke field anyway is when you have less to lose. and having 4 cards in hand and 1 him on field is still less than your opponent having 2 monsters, a Backrow or two, and 2-3 cards in hand.

His effect is nastier than heavy storm and it's plastered onto a 1900 body. I wonder how he'll work his way into the meta...

... Noooo, every single thing from the DT says that he fought on the side of the DT when Disigma went batshit.

Roach was always a good guy, and every art/mention of him in the DT has been with him as a hero or equivalent of some sort.

This is, apparently, him as a follower of the new deity/deities Sombres and Kerykeion.

So being an Acolyte gives you gigantic eyes? I do hope then that this means more DT-based stuff.

The org covers what I was trying to say, but better, and explains the naming scheme here.

Dude, I know the DT storyline. I also know the DT series hasn't got a new installment since 14, so I was hoping this meant we may get more Duel Terminal-related cards. How in any way does that make it seem like I don't know what his name is about?

Nono, I meant that it also had the lore spelled out in general.

I didn't quote you because it wasn't directed at you, but was directed at anyone who didn't realize the full DT Lore.

Ah, my bad. It's be nice to see rest of the survivors get new cards as well.

Also, I appreciate the irony that the Acolyte of the two Demigods who tried to shop the Creatrix from blowing up the world... has an ability to blow everything up. Twice. And the DT world has been destroyed twice. This is a meta reference so self-indulgent it needs to be voiced by Peter Cullen and Frank Welker.

How is this an lswarm monster?

Isn't lswarm "verz" in ocg? I see "veruz" not "verz"

The topic title was just a phonetic rendering of the name, since nobody was sure how to translate this pun.

To Compound:

The Japanese name for Verz IS Veruz. It's supposed to be a mangled version of Virus.

The Inverz were infected with the Veruz virus.

It was only traslated as Verz to make sense with Inverz, but the name Verz hs a double meaning in Japan; Inverz and Veruz, as said.

So Veruz is, in fact, Verz. It just doesn't translate well.
