SecondWar
Powerful card, but currently is seen in more decks Dragon Rulers ... Can anyone name another deck that would benefit from this card? (Except Dragunity or Cyberdark because these I'm quoting now!)
Toffee.
currently is seen in more decks Dragon Rulers-In all seriousness, though, this card has become rather idiotic because of Rulers.

heraldry_lord
I wonder if Ravine will take a hit like Gold Sarc did. It shouldn't, but it's still possible.
Blake
I wonder if Ravine will take a hit like Gold Sarc did. It shouldn't, but it's still possible. It kinda should. While it's never been extremely relevant, it's always been a problem card, and will always BE a problem card. The only reason it's never gotten to the spotlight is because, despite the degenerate things this card enables, they were never good enough. They are now. heraldry_lord
As Dem said yesterday, they've always been a degenerate deck. Well, if they do hit Ravine, I just hope that they don't leave the adult Rulers completely untouched this time around. Even a semi-limit is better than nothing. Even a semi-limit is better than nothing. I'm fairly sure this format has proven that the big dragons are just to good to exist unscathed. They'll adpat to basically any other hit to the deck short of a steak to the heart. OT: Yeah, it kinda needs to go. Not just because of Dragon Rulers. Wildflame
If they hit this and nothing else in Dragons they are doing it wrong. They will find another engine easily. That said, this is even meaner in Dragunity.
Lonk
As Dem said yesterday, they've always been a degenerate deck. I thought I said that yesterday. I made the status that Dragunities were degenerate as intercourse, and no one should defend them. That's why Ravine should be @1 or @0.

Lonk
I know someone said that, can't remember if it was Dem or not. It was in a status, right? If so, then it was me. You could check my statuses as proof. Dem commented on my status, agreeing with me that Dragunities are a degenerate Deck.

goddamnit names are a pain
I hardly even ran Ravine, and the deck still sucked when I did. Dragunities are hit and miss, no matter what you run (as far as they go, not counting DN lolz failz)

jabber2033
Ban Ravine, ban the Rulers, Ban Sold Sarc, Limit Sacred Sword, Limit Dux, Phalanx and Vayrayana. Yeah, no need for all of that. Forbidden: Ravine Limited Sacred Sword Dux Semi-ed: Dragon Rulers That should probably be good enough.

Maeriberii Haan
Ah, I remember when dragunity was said to be a crappy rogue deck that can easily be shut down. I remember when ravine was said to be a sucky MST-bait Times does change, eh? On topic, card's pretty much set any of your plays in the deck. Running dragunities without ravine is possible though, but they'll have a less easier time to set up. Being a field spell means that this card is really searchable, limiting/semi-limiting it is kind of pointless. Being a OPT foolish that can also be a ROTA is really good. 玄魔の王
Yeah, no need for all of that. Forbidden: Ravine Limited Sacred Sword Dux Semi-ed: Dragon Rulers That should probably be good enough. Needed in a reactive sense? No. But I've become convinced that until we start taking a proactive stance to ban lists, we're gonna get one shitty format after the next. The latest TCG list had the sense to kill 3-Fists before they could have their way with out meta, and I think we need more of that attitude in designing these lists. Simply put, if a card serves no purpose beyond enabling degenerate decks, ban it.
