How the hell is Necroface the problem with Macro Cosmos and D. Fissure? No one freaking cares about Necroface!

open this demo in devpro.

Edit: i am well aware of how these cards are abused for side decks to stop many meta decks.... but destroying all D.D decks just sucks. There must be another way to deal with this problem. Why does the OCG not have trouble with them?

Seeing as the OP is clearly flat-out inept at understanding the basic principles of a banlist, I'm going to ask just one question.

Why the fuck are other people advocating for banning Herald of Perfection?

It's in no way degenerate, and just because you don't enjoy playing against it doesn't mean that's a good reason to ban it. Bannings should be held for cards that are simply overpowered or make something else that has the potential to be overpowered consistent enough to be so. Almost all other reasons are total horse shit.

- noblswarm is by far the easiest nuke to bring out. just give me some examples of other nukes to bring out. Black Rose Dragon (This takes the crown), World of Prophecy (Nuking is nearly as easy as opening a Priestess play), Crystal Abundance (not easy, not awfully hard), JD (easy as anything), Demise (2-card combos anyone?)
- stardust assault mode: Tell me how you can defeat two that are on the field. Bait, Bait, Abyss Dweller, laugh. Alternatively there's boarding those Debunks you're likely to be siding anyway.
- rescue rabbit made so many possible decks, and it wasn't just used for rank 4 by the way. With your argument blue mountain butterspy, goblindbergh and others should also be limited. I'm sorry but no. You're just wrong. This need to be semi limited again. It was doing NOTHING harmful at 2. The difference is we can't make 1-card Laggias off a Goblindbergh, and we can't re-use Goblindbergh off something silly like a Tour Guide (which makes a 1-card Leviair). The card is perfectly fine at 1.
- I don't really care what RotA is at, as long as it and that beast warrior searcher are at the same exact limit. If you're being THAT butthurt over it, Tenki would be better at 1.
- grand mole: Yeah but that was such a long time ago. Things have changed now. Is he causing trouble in the OCG at semi limited? I really doubt it. Also recently there has been a lot of cards released that negate effects that occur during the battle phase or something similar. Because everyone plays into 104 these days, right? Right?

You do realize the exact same argument could be made with shock master right? I think most of us in this thread have agreed we should just get rid of both and end it there.

- Nice argument, althought the crown clearly belongs to noblswarm now. I am removing noblswarm from the list.
- oh how i wish i had room for abyss dweller in my extra deck.... anyway good argument. removing it from my list.

- I'm not butthurt about RotA, I was agreeing with the person who talked about it.
- No one gives a fuck about dino rabbits anymore. Even in the last format they weren't meta anymore. sangan and tour guide have divorced and the deck just isn't going to be consistent enough with 2 rabbits, no rabbit searcher, only 2 tour guides, several of its favorite traps banned or limited, and seriously need I go on? No it's not fine at 1, a ton of original decks have had to be trashed, including almost my own deck which was only miraculously saved by raiden and troubull/trouble diver. At this point my deck doesn't want or need a second rescue rabbit but back in early September things were pretty dire.
- That's not the only monster..... I can't name any but I have encountered a lot of monsters lately....Also you fail to provide any example of it causing trouble in the OCG at semi limited.

Shock Master....is too accessible, is in the extra deck so it didn't need any maindeck investment.

You must gear your deck's dedication to Herald if you want to play it.

advanced ritual arts
preparation of the rites
manju of the ten thousand hands
it is easy to search and get out herald of perfection.

Getting out a herald? Yeah, just as easy as any other ritual monster. Actually using Herald as your win condition? You need to stock your deck with fairies and as many cards that add fairies to your hand as you can. There is no teching with HoP. You make a HoP deck or you dont run it, period.

Your attempts to sweep away my rebuttals have failed thus far, even if you fail to admit it.

EDIT: Yeah, maybe Dino-Rabbits arent relevant anymore. But you know what will be if Rabbit goes up? Dino Rabbits 2.0. They will find a way, and they will laugh.

The one thing I am not agreeing with here is that people are making cases for cards being fine THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. THESE CARDS ARE FINE BECAUSE OF THE SETUP AND HOW THEY MUST BE PLAYED. STARDUST ASSAULT, FOR EXAMPLE, IS FINE BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO HAVE STARDUST AND ASSAULT MODE ACTIVATE ON THE FIELD, WHICH REQUIRES SETUP. STOP USING SUCH FLAWED LOGIC.

Sorry, just ticked off at it a little.

Dragged Down is an annoyance, but its a minor hoop compared to, you know, a decent DW deck.

Used in DW, flawed logic. Its fine because it doesn't wreck the duel. Oh my, it has a chance to stop an Exodia deck. Sigh....

good, lets have some originality. By the way, if a dino rabbit 2.0 would exist, then it must already exist in the OCG. We can simply check out the meta of the OCG to know if a dino rabbit 2.0 would come to exist in the TCG or not if dino rabbit was semi limited again. Right now the only original deck in the TCG that is competitive with pure TCG cards is chaos dragons.

bro calm down it's not even on my list anymore.

Sorry, annoyed that this is getting off of your list simply because another person used a card that can stop it as a reason.

That logic SUCKS.

I want it off of the list for a legitimate reason. The only time you can use another card as a reason is if it does the same thing, but is stronger.

ok, yeah, lets unban trapshoot and confiscation then since by your argument seeing the opponents hand on the first turn and taking a card from them doesn't wreck a duel. Just no. Suggesting that dragged down should be limited was me being nice, personally I think should join it's 2 friends in the tour bus to the forbidden realms but I know that will make dark world players too butthurt.

i am already familiar with the reason you gave. You see, at no point did I ever mention it was easy to summon.

Not my best logic, I'm just saying it doesn't blow anything up. And if your deck is butthurt because it lost one card, in needs to not be so reliant. Not saying this happened to you, so don't say I did. Each player seeing each others' hands and discarding a card, then drawing a card that is not shown is not exactly game-breaking. Seeing hands does not wreck duels, if it did, everyone would play Respect Play.

I know, but someone said something about Abyss Dweller and that changed your mind on it. That person thinking a card could easily stop it makes it fair is bad logic, sorry.

i agree with you, but you have failed to give me any differences between confiscation/trapshoot in non-dark world and dragged down in dark world decks. The way I see it either they are all banned or none are banned, that's the only way it can be fair. still, despite this I am being nice and calling for dragged down to be limited rather than banned.

No. The same argument doesn't go for Shock Master. Shock Master is easily accessible by a significant number of decks, and will end a game literally by itself with absolutely no support. It can't be realistically or efficiently grinded out since it just stops you playing cards entirely.

Ah....well, for starters, they only affect the opponent. And you could play these turn one and your opponent couldn't do crap.

Dragged down affects both players. Dark Worlds are example of how they turned a card into a gimmick, but most decks do that.

Scapegoat with Mecha Phantom Beasts,

Golden Sarco with Necroface, yes I went there

Iron Call in Meklords

Hamon in Crystal Beasts.

And so on and so forth.

Not the best examples( I dare say they are terrible. =3), but just making a point.

yes, indeed it turned a once useless card into a gimmick. Remember when e-drags did that to super rejuvenation? remember what happened to super rejuvenation? yeah. limited or banned.
-I have not seen scapegoat being abused with mecha phantom beasts, in any case I always felt it was a stupid idea to remove that from limited. The only reason it's not on my list is because it hasn't yet managed to cause me any serious OP trouble.
-golden sarco was limited last format, now you're just proving that I am right in my suggestion. Thanks I guess.
-iron call and meklords? I have never seen that. For that matter I have almost never seen meklords except maybe 5 times, including that retarded 8000 ATK OTK from granel.
-crystal beasts are dead. noblswarm sealed their fate.

I said "not the best examples."

E Drags were already broken, your argument is invalid.

I really picked bad examples.

I mean to say that decks can utilize cards. That doesn't mean they are broken.

And Crystal Beasts always sucked. I just said they could utilize Hamon as a gimmick.

You're either being thick, trolling, or you never played when Shock Master was everywhere.

if shock master was everywhere before may 2013 then I guess the latter is true. However last format all I saw was e-drags and spellbooks effortlessly winning everything. Such a god awful format that was, the worst since the substitoad format. I think we can all agree on that.

Yeah unfortunately I can't really give the time frame when it happened. idk when it was banned and idk when it was dominant. I haven't properly played or paid attention to yugioh since the format was Rabbit vs Inzektors. I just recall a period of time I tried to get back into the game and Shock Master just ended every game by just being made.
