Northern Sage
If your opponent has 8 or more cards in their Graveyard: The ATK's of all monsters your opponent currently controls become 0. Well, the activation requirements aren't exactly that difficult to achieve. Discuss.

Sleepy
Yay for Needle Worm suppor-*shot* I'm pretty sure Dark Worlds can do it with their Dragged Downs and Dealings in a couple of turns. I made a card similar to this a while back, only my version affected the entire field and excluded Frog the Jam.
werewolfjedi
this seriously is playable against every meta deck save MAYBE, prophecy because fof all the returns by tower and banishes from fate and life

Blake
Why can't it? It alters ATK Ask Japan, not me. Rulings on the card say it CAN be used in the Damage Step, but not Calculations. Meaning Honest or whatever will always win.

Pchi
Reptiliannes can use this. Though, at most, @2, since it's more of a middle/late game card and can easily clog if drawn in the first turn.

They drop JD, they nuke, you chain, they just devote more cards and OTK you anyway. And planning for LS themselves seems bad.

Blake
But why would you ever be using this is the question? It's probably live against Fist when the OTK comes down, but not during the setup phase with Bear. Hell, maybe not even during the OTK phase, given Rekindling. Alas, that's 1. It's gonna be live against Geargia. That's 2. It can be live agaisnt Mermail, but they've probably disposed of this by the time it's important. That's 3 if you wanna push it. It's not live against Bujin because of the fact that it's not usable during Damage Calculation. It's not live agaisnt Prophecy, really. Doesnt seem live against Gravekeepers. That doesn't seem very good for relevant and rogue decks that people expect to be relevant. It's decently live I guess, but it's a mediocre card choice even then. There are better, more pin-point things you could do instead of this.
Goose
Gravekeeper's are slow enough that it could become live a few turns in, but that involves waiting and stuff

There are better, more pin-point things you could do instead of this. well it is a permanent effect against the monsters on the field, and it's not always the easiest to recycle an OTK field, which this could single handedly make null, as well as the fact it can go as deep as the damage step as well means it can be a decent combat trick. I overall like the design and freedom this card gives on it's activational requirements, as well as being a very flexible answer to issues in battle I"m not going to deny mirror force can do better, but this isn't something you ignore the existence of. Sleepy
You could actually even argue that this protects you better than Mirror Force in certain cases. It's completely chainable, it doesn't target, it doesn't destroy, and it both paves the way for your taking down bosses with virtually anything and stops an OTK. I overall think the card is being underestimated. The only downside it really has it not being able to be played too early in the game. Though the conditions are still not exactly hard. Toffee.
Though the conditions are still not exactly hard.Play searching card to net X -> At least 2 cards.Set something -> another 1-8 cards.Veilers/etc -> Another 1.Not saying any of this is set in stone, but if a player's turn goes exactly the way you plan it, at an efficient rate, you end up with like maybe 3-5 cards in the Graveyard by the end of turn 1.Then if you factor in additional searchers and what-not that could potentially go off, etc, etc, the Graveyard can fill pretty quickly.
