CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
given that they start off as main deck monsters then later be in the extra deck by sending them to the grave… It seem it have to be regular effect monster/spell card. The way it going, I can suspect in anime, there could be reverse Pendulum and minus monsters for antagonists similar to Dark Signers and the Dark Synchro but that might be a stretch. Also now we know the Scale range of those 2 Pendulum monsters, and the Dragon Yuya will be summoning is more likely to be Level 7 regular Effect or Normal/Pendulum Monster with 2500 ATK/2000 DEF. Sleepy
I could be wrong, since i'm just skimming through Yu-Gi-Oh news sites and wiki, but I was under the impression that they must be first used as Spell Cards. By the time their Booster/Starter is released, I'm expecting atleast 8-10+ members, but I think 7 or 8 sounds like a good amount to me, can't say since I don't 100% understand the mechanic. They wouldn't have been made orange like regular Effect Monsters if they couldn't be regular Effect Monsters though. I like the strategic aspect of these guys a lot. You get it and you are like: Do I left Scale, Right Scale, or use it as a monster? If used as a monster, do I use it for Tribute/Synchro Summon, so that I get out X monster and ready him back into the Extra Deck for next turn's Pendulum Summon, or do I Xyz that card I need? Do I Pendulum Summon him right now, or do I Normal Summon it so that after the Synchro Summon I can just Pendulum Summon him again? That's without considering the Scale value or the Pendulum's effects (both Spell Effect & Monster Effect). Though of course, this first card is simple right now. Both Scales are the same, effect is not great, and he is fairly weak, but it does show what Pendulum's can potentially be. I don't like the fact you can Summon a bunch of monsters at the time, but it does either exhaust the hand or take a while to build-up in the Extra Deck for actual pluses. I just realize that it make sense if Pendulum monsters come with different numbers on each of their scales as if you end up 2 of the same ones in hand, it is also flexible if it have its own range like 3 on blue and 8 on red compare to needing 2 different pendulum monsters whose scales identical like those magicians' case. Azuh
Well, I just realised this, but the translation team for English Konami is absolutely fucked These cards need a "Majutsushi" card for their effects to work. "Majutsushi" roughly translated to "Magician". The problem is, the current "Majutsushi" cards we currently have are "Magician" monsters (as well as "Time Wizard"), BUT, we also have a lot of other "Magician" cards that are not "Majutsushi", such as "Dark Magician" which is a "Majishan" monster instead. So in turn, we might be getting a LOT of reprints, or theyre just going to do a "Prophecy" on us and not make direct support to "Majutsushi" unless they are Pendulum monsters

Majutsushi could become Wizard. What other Majutsushi cards do we have in the TCG without realizing? As of right now, it's not too relevant because Scale Zones, but for future reference it might matter.

asterr259
Was there something wrong with just saying "Spellcaster-Type"?
Sleepy
Was there something wrong with just saying "Spellcaster-Type"? That'd be a good solution. Though these cards also address this "Odd-Eyes" which is probably the Blue-Eyes White Dragon of the generation, and presumably a Dragon. It's most likely an early plot device given for when/if Yuya and Reiji have to tag-duel, which has to eventually happen. Speaking of, did Jaden ever tag-duel with Chazz btw? Haha...... *laughs nerviously* A-anyways. I think it also works with a Dragon-Type not yet released.
